Down 13-12 two minutes left 4th and 3 passes up a 49 yard field goal try (kicker had made 4 with one from 51 yards) and passes deep incomplete. Texans take over move down field and Haynesworth gets his knee blown out. Titans lose.

I always wonder if the NFL is fixed...

Was wind a factor in the decision for the FGA?

I don't see how you can link his decision on the FGA with Haynesworth's injury - completely unrelated.

I don't wish injury on anyone but the first thing I thought of was Haynesworth stepping on Gurode's face

It was wet and Houston's kicker missed a chip shot in the 3rd. Even still, that was a horrible decision by Fisher who's one of my favorite coaches. Vironas owned the Texans the last time they went to Houston and Fisher showed no faith.

Either way, Houston was the better team and looked like it. They just hurt themselves with penalties and that chip shot miss.

I dunno, Dick Jauron pulled a major stupid move out his arse as well, having JP Lostman try a playaction pass late in the game and with the lead, and with a RB who had been tearing the Jets D a new one. Guess what happens? Lostman fails to get rid of the ball, fumbles and they run it back for a TD...then Lostman promptly throws an awful pick on the enxt series to lose the game

Jauron pretty much guaranteed his firing then I guess.

Haynesworth is actually a pretty nice guy. That was out of character for him. Not excusing it at all. He lost it there but he's a good character guy.

Wet? They play in a dome unless they're playing somewhere else?

The retractable roof is broke because of hurricane Ike ?? so they can't close it till it's repaired.

I suppose there could be some wind but I doubt it.
The announcers were saying there was a little bit of wind cause the balls were driving in for touchbacks.

They did say there was some, but shouldn't have been enough to go for at that point. Unless the kicker or ST guy comes up to the coach and says the kick can't be made.

Cost me 4 fantasy points....stupid Fisher!

That was a STUPID call...they have a very good FG kicker. Last year he set the record with 8 in one game.

Reliant roof's is torn and they can't close it but I cannot imagine wind being any factor.

He just blew it!
