Jeff Heath is a guy I didn't like early on, but he has worked really hard and surprised me. Solid contributor and excellent special teams guy -- can't ask for more than that based on how he made his way on the team.

Also, he helps placate the fans who really wanted a white safety to make the team, including me - you all remember Matt Johnson, LOL.

1. Heath was never good enough to start and its all we have left
2. He was always good enough but Garrett was such a bad judge of talent he rotted on the bench.

Well the coaching staff and the Joneses thought highly of him enough for them to let our two starting safeties walk. Then they selected a safety in the 6th mean that they have faith in Heath.

I don't see why anyone isn't excited about Heath. He has created more turnovers than any other DB on our team and has done it for a few years. Not everyone is basing it off of one game.
