I wont miss Ireland... what was his grade on Devin hester or Marcus Colston?
Ireland was pretty good at what he did. He was the biggest loss that we had this offseason IMO.

Or Devin Hester is just a good product of a GREAT (special teams)system in Chicago. And while Colston is a very good #2, he's ain't a #1-he struggled a bit when Joe Horn left.

Ireland was always pretty candid on the radio here with norm. It doesnt matter if he said offense or defense. They have control of what they want to do and have to pick in that spot.

maybe it hurts the contract talks they are having with the players but even at that I dont see how it is a big deal.

Gholston has all the combine #'s----but did he dominate in college at all?

from what i heard on one radio segment (espn radio if i remember) --he was pretty much a 'jag" in college

IMO, the same could of been said of Ware's college career. Besides, have you seen Gholston's college #s? He was very productive.

edit: "22.5 sacks and 30.5 TFL in his last two seasons. That's pretty damn good." - theogt

They must be looking to pass on their pick and then take Gholston as the 3rd or 4th guy.
