And yes, she still talks to Parcells. Of course, she was always one of his biggest fans. She was one of the few DFW reporter he would talk to after he left.

She says Bill may even have told Huizenga that's who he wanted when he took the job.

The raiding definitely isn't over.

makes perfect sense to me, bill brought him here, he is an east coast guy and he has coached mutliple positions and been a head coach in college.

I look for haley, carthon, richie "I like Hookers" anderson and possibly paul pasqualoni to be in the mix.

What do you think of Cameron as a possible OC if Jason were to somehow leave?

No idea. I would be willing to bet Coaches like being on wades staff and they already have worked together so If something were to happen and we were to really get raided and lose garret along with sporano, it could be a good fit.

It would be hard to be an Offensive coordinator looking for a job and not like the weapons we have.

Just did some research on Cameron's stint as OC in San Diego from 2002-06

Here are the Chargers offensive rankings in ppg and ypg in those year

2002 20th ppg 16th ypg
2003 16th ppg 14th ypg
2004 3rd ppg 10th ypg (Chargers started winning)
2005 5th ppg 10th ypg
2006 1st ppg 4th ypg

Add to that his history with Wade and the fact we have comparable if not better offensive weapons, then if we lose Garrett, this is the guy I want to replace him.

If they lose Garrett and Sparano, I think Cameron as OC and Solari (chiefs) as the OL coach would be real nice pickups.

I'd be concerned Cam would look at our OC position as another stepping stone and would always be looking to leave.

Solari was brought into the NFL by Tom Landry. It would be an intriguing hire to say the least.

better than hiring a mediocre coordinator that won't.

Totally agree. I was just noticing last night that Solari was fired. He'd be an excellent hire if Sprano leaves.

Maybe next year. I'm pretty sure Cameron is staying on this year. That's what he told the team at least.

That is some future hindsight :laugh2:
Well Cameron has shown that he is more than a mediocre offensive coordinator. In fact he's been nothing short of excellent in his tenure at San Diego.

I dunno, I can still see Cam getting canned.

I'd be concerned if an OC had no desire to become a HC somewhere one day
