Jenkings seemed to be really fired up last night. I thought that shot he gave Dez would draw a flag but it didn't happen. The guy has talent but he's really no match for Dez Bryant. Seems like DB's get In Dez's face a lot. I noticed it last year. I don't know if Dez is talking a lot or what the deal is. Seems like he is always jawing with whoever is covering him. I guess when your as good as he is, other players try to get under your skin. I think Jenkings is soft and will be injured often. I don't wish it on him but that's what will likely happen. Couldn't believe the number of former Cowboys on the raiders team either.......

I don't think he liked the way Dez muscled him for one of his catches. One thing about Mike J, he is a "get back" type of player. He feels embarrassed or did wrong he will try and get you back.

Just like when Plax took that shot at him, he came back for revenge.

He's a good corner, there is no denying that.

Dez loves to talk and loves to get under other players skin. It's his game rattle them mentally then physically make them scared or believe they can't defend him. It's his never give up attitude. It's his you can't beat me attitude or his you can't push me around attitude. Love that about him

OP, just letting you know politely that the DB was jenkins w/o the "g" before the s. Now regarding what you bring up, I feel that it lights a fire under Dez PHYSICALLY when there's jawing going back and forth. However, Dez needs to remember not to lose mental focus while it happens. Hopefully we can see that this year.

Just curious. Who gets manhandled less in practice: Smith against Ware or Claiborne against Dez?

right now from what I have read it seems to be both Claiborne and smith take there equal share of abuse in practice.

Mo and Ty are getting abused in practice, but I bet that they are SO much the better for it when they go up against others in game situations...there aren't many right now better at their craft than Ware and Dez

It is unfortunate Jenkins never played that fired up in Dallas. If he did I'd bet he would still be on the team. I will be shocked if he does not get fined for that last shot he took at Dez. He launched with his helmet.

After Dez knocked Jenkins helmet off he probably told him as they were jawing with each other that he should have made a business decision and avoided that tackle.

I wasn't too fond of Murray running over and tapping Jenkins on the arse during that exchange

Lol it was preseason and I doubt they were seriously cursing each other out. And Murray knows mike can't hurt Dez with his weak game.

In the first couple of years I thought that maybe the other team's DBs had extra energy/trash talk just because Dez had a fair amount of hype surrounding him and they wanted to take that down a peg. But now I think it's clearly also just as much Dez incessantly running his mouth with trash talk just as much if not more than the other guys. Not a problem for me as long as he stays on his game (it seems like he has lost some focus in the past, D. Hall comes to mind).

One of football's great mysteries is how all of those refs could miss a helmet to helmet shot by Jenkins that knocked his own helmet completely off. Are they blind, or just incompetent?

NFL Networks Mike Irvin had this to say about Jenkins hit..........if he had made hits along that line while he was in Dallas.......he'd still be in Dallas.......

Jenkins is a goof! I totally agreed with what Michael Irvin said at half time: "if Jenkins would have hit someone like that in Dallas, he'd still be in Dallas, and not playing against Dallas right now". What a chump Jenkins is. The guy has physical talent, but a bad attitude, and strikes me as a bit dumb too. He never showed heart or real interest in being a Cowboy, so I say good riddance....For him to trash talk after the lack of passion he has exhibited at various times in his career is pretty laughable. Yeah, Dez can be a bit of a talker and a bit silly too, BUT, Dez has been CONSISTENTLY passionate about playing football and doing everything he can to help the Cowboys win - he cares! That much is obvious. For Jenkins to spear Dez with his helmet on that one tackle, especially in the pre-season, was a chump thing to do.......Jenkins would be twice the player he is, if he had HALF of Dez's passion/interest in the game! Not the "right kind of guy" and I just don't get the "winner" vibe from Jenkins in general. I'd take Dez and his diminishing headaches any day over Jenkins.
