Jenkins vs Dez

I wonder if any other team in the NFL has had two 1st round picks from the same year, and neither of them make it to a second contract with the team.
That set us back some.

We all know about then tons of Pro Bowl RBs taken after Felix in that draft.
But does anyone recall the player taken right after Jenkins?

What set the team back in that draft was using their first #1 on an RB to be a complimentary player to a an RB that was drafted in the 4th round 3 years earlier.

Yeah, kind of obvious when your helmet comes off.

The hit that worried me was on Romo's sack. That defender lunged head first and Tony slid underneath of it. He might of had his bell rung if not for getting down quick. Probably still no flag :-(

I remember Tony getting cut on the chin with a helmet hit a fews years back. A cut/bleeding chin yet no flag.

Why all the Jenkins hate, he was pretty good for us, he just couldn't stay on the field unfortunately. There are a few Cowboys I can think of that have the same problem yet everyone loves.

Jenkins is a solid corner but Dez will abuse him, LOL!

I don't think he liked the way Dez muscled him for one of his catches. One thing about Mike J, he is a "get back" type of player. He feels embarrassed or did wrong he will try and get you back.

Just like when Plax took that shot at him, he came back for revenge.

He's a good corner, there is no denying that.

Too bad he never got Brandon Jacobs back. I lost all respect for him after that cowardly display as a rookie.

I think corners have been jawing Dez since his rookie year. They would mentally take him out of games from what I remember. From the gut, I think it worked, because as the game went on, Dez caught fewer passes. I'm sure someone is going to go through stats and prove me wrong, but that's just how I remember it happening. Now, it seems like he's saying, "Remember me?"

It is unfortunate Jenkins never played that fired up in Dallas. If he did I'd bet he would still be on the team. I will be shocked if he does not get fined for that last shot he took at Dez. He launched with his helmet.
