Liking her or not has nothing to do with it. Her nickname is the little ball of hate. She is an entertainer. She is there to get people to listen. She doesn't care whether you like her or hate her. She will do whatever it takes to get people to keep tuned.

She used to be a reporter. She used to be a journalist. She used to report facts or at the very least back her opinion up with facts. It seems to me that at some point the editor at FWST or the producer at her radio station indicated to her that being a legitimate journalist doesn't make them money. That she needed to be polarizing to be successful.

Heck, I love Howard Stern and will laugh my backside off every show. OTOH, I loathe Limbaugh and will argue with him on my luch break if I happen to listen to him. In both cases I realize what they are: provocateurs. Both do their job and do it well. There job is to get listeners and not to report the truth.

Floyd-Engel is of their ilk.
