Sturm loved him as long as you are just going to put him at G and not expect him to ever pull. If you could get him in the third would be a huge steal. To me, this is the kind of guy you hope to get if you move down in the first and pick up an extra pick.

I've watched some Yankey and I see what Jeremiah is saying a little, but honestly I liked what I saw. He seemed quick to fire off the ball, good balance, looked like he did his job. He was slow, and looked to have a hitch in his step (didn't look smooth) when pulling, though.

I prefer Brandon Thomas. I watched his game v. Ohio State, and he really plays physically and can create push in the running game. That guy is going to be a high caliber starter at OG for someone. Really wouldn't mind him at #47, if he makes it there.

I'd love for people to tell me what they watched that Yankey isn't that good. Just rewatched him and I'd still rank him as the 3rd best G behind Sua-Filo and Brandon Thomas (4th if Martin is a G only). I'd still grab him in the 2nd without hesitation.
