@MikeGarafolo: Word in Indy was he will get love. RT @LanceZierlein: Cowboys RT Jermey Parnell should be a highly targeted FA. Played well with Free out

I thought he played pretty well, but I got the sense those that reviewed the games on the forum came away unimpressed. My sense could be off.

The legend of Parnell is better than his actual play.

I like him..

If he comes cheap i'd like to have him back. Instead of using a high pick or spending 4 or 5 mill a year on a RT I think Parnell would bring great value.

I like him too, but I don't think he'll bring any value. I think he'll end up making more than Free somewhere else.

I agree with signing Free and letting Parnell go. He filled in decently for Free, but he has had 2, maybe 3 years to over take RT and hasn't done it yet.
Time to move on, give Weems his chance, but also draft a RT at some point in the draft if BPA.

However I won't complain if Parnell is signed, but still bring back Free if possible, but still draft a RT.

He's a perfect candidate to get over paid by the Commanders.

We've settled at RT for years. Neither Free or Parnell are good enough.

I agree on him being over paid by the Skins, it seems like destiny. I disagree with settling at RT for years. Dallas has made a real effort to grow talent from within the organization through the draft over the last several years. I view Free and Parnell as success stories of that "process" and think both are good enough.

Well then you're happy with average. What real effort did they make in the draft to find a RT? Free was a 4th round pick 8 years ago. Parnell was undrafted. Who are these RT prospects added through the draft the last several years?

I frequent extremeskins (Commanders forum) and there have been a couple threads with skins fans clamoring about how they're going to "take a piece of Dallas' great wall." They're all pretty excited about Parnell coming to DC.

But let's be real here, Parnell is a good, but not great, tackle who is largely bolstered by the best guard in the NFL. He's not essential to our OLine. I say let them overpay.

Yeah and Tony Romo was undrafted. Players come from different areas and phases of the game an not Risen's Big Board. You seem to believe there's a script of how to run an NFL team but you're missing a few pages.
