Jeremy Shockey was reportedly rushed to the hospital Sunday after he was found unconscious at 2PM at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.

TMZ.com doesn't have all the details, but the website does say that Shockey had been at a pool party. Paramedics arrived when he was discovered and took him away on a stretcher. More information should be available soon.

New Orleans Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey was taken to the hospital after becoming dehydrated near a swimming pool while attending a party with several NFL players in Las Vegas, spokesman Greg Bensel said on Sunday.

After being treated, Shockey was discharged from the hospital, according to Bensel, and appears to be "in good shape now."

The party apparently was at the Beach Club Pool at the Hard Rock Cafe Casino, another Saints official said.

Shockey made the Pro Bowl four times with the New York Giants but was traded to the Saints before last season. He caught 50 passes for career lows in yardage (483) and touchdowns (0) and missed five games with a sports hernia.

Or mixed prescription drugs and alcohol; you can also get to drunk and kill yourself it happens every year it is just not as common as people that mix the two.
