To me it's about being stupid enough to fail it at this point in your life. You can't win with dumb players.

Not so sure about that. I thought he was a 30-35 player before this. Now maybe he'll drop to 47. Would be awesome if we could get him in the 2nd. Best 1-tech in the draft.

I just don't see where he is that much better than some other 1-tech types.

Just amazing how many of them do this every year. They KNOW there will be a drug test at the combine. All they have to do is lay off of it for a month or so. Yet they are unable to control themselves. THAT is what is important-their lack of self control. THAT is the red flag.

Dallas says they don't want to take a 1-tech in the first round... and they say Jernigan is a 1-tech...

So now he's gonna fall into the second round.

It is fate. He will be our second round pick, and I'd love it.

UPDATE 8:11 p.m. ET: FOX Sports initially reported that Jernigan had a failed test but later updated that report to say that Jernigan had a diluted sample.

Mettenberger's was the same case, but he supposedly was under doctor's orders to overhydrate due to cramps. His agent was real quick with that response.

Should be interesting to see if Jernigan's agent, who is relatively unknown, can bail him out as well.

And I was countering your point saying that a team that you and I rooted for was hugely successful with more than a couple bad eggs. Our star WR was probably doing lines in the locker room.

Its no doubt incredibly stupid and he will definitely see the effects of his stupidity when he gets his 1st check, but it in no way shape or form affects his ability to hit the guy in front of him on Sundays.
