I know people will point to Stephen McGee and the pile of crap QB prospects we have brought in but I get the impression that the club has hit its stride in QB development. Two years in a row that rookie QBs have shown tremendous progress is no coincidence.
Fuzzy---are you concerned at all with Coopers relatively weak arm and somewhat slow release??..just a thought not trying to be a negative nancy

Rush=Hope. Thats worth discusing. Could he be the next Garopollo?? If so, its a nice card to hold.

Then again, Garap was a 2nd round draft pick. We didn't need to invest a pick in Rush.

I'm encouraged. It's fun to watch. I hated going into season after season with no hope for future QB's outside of an aging and injured Romo.

as good as rush numbers are the rest of the qbs on the list are going against first team defenses. now rush has been playing against undrafted free agents most of his snaps. I wonder what his numbers would be against starters.

And I wonder what Rush's numbers would be playing behind our first string line with weapons like Cole, Dez and Zeke. :)

Compared to Moore, Rush has a rifle for an arm.

I'm excited about Coop but it's pretty well known he doesn't have a strong arm. I don't know if that's something he can improve on much...or will be a limitation he'll always have.

The vision, instinct, poise and decision-making is what I'm excited about.

C-Rush throw guys open as good as I've seen any Rookie do in Quite awhile. TD pass to Hillman and long past to Butler are prime examples..............TD to Rico

That is a skill that offsets a possible arm strength deficiency............kinda the same "problem" Joe Montana had..........

Despite his so called "blah arm strength", I haven't seen it an issue in the games. It looks like he's still capable of throwing all the routes.

Good points. Those other assets may be enough to overcome a weaker arm.

That is why Moore isn't succeeding. He has a weak arm. He also is weak in several other skill sets important to the QB position. Too many to make up for arm strength.
