Watson, Goff, Mitch, Rush
. We?? We are fans.
Fuzzy---are you concerned at all with Coopers relatively weak arm and somewhat slow release??..just a thought not trying to be a negative nancyI know people will point to Stephen McGee and the pile of crap QB prospects we have brought in but I get the impression that the club has hit its stride in QB development. Two years in a row that rookie QBs have shown tremendous progress is no coincidence.
as good as rush numbers are the rest of the qbs on the list are going against first team defenses. now rush has been playing against undrafted free agents most of his snaps. I wonder what his numbers would be against starters.
I apologize. I respect your views completely. No slight intended.DOes a body of evidence exist for anyone to look at or not?
I like how you ignored my larger point to fixate on a pronoun I used.
Cooper Rush
yes exactly correct. You mean with the 1st Team Offensive Line, RBs, TE and WRs?
Rush=Hope. Thats worth discusing. Could he be the next Garopollo?? If so, its a nice card to hold.

Amen. Couldn't agree more. It's, finally, a good time to be a Cowboy fan!!Then again, Garap was a 2nd round draft pick. We didn't need to invest a pick in Rush.
I'm encouraged. It's fun to watch. I hated going into season after season with no hope for future QB's outside of an aging and injured Romo.

Compared to Moore, Rush has a rifle for an arm.
Despite his so called "blah arm strength", I haven't seen it an issue in the games. It looks like he's still capable of throwing all the routes.I'm excited about Coop but it's pretty well known he doesn't have a strong arm. I don't know if that's something he can improve on much...or will be a limitation he'll always have.
The vision, instinct, poise and decision-making is what I'm excited about.

Where is this lack of arm strength they speak of? The Out, the Slant, the Post....the fly pattern??.....NOPE!Despite his so called "blah arm strength", I haven't seen it an issue in the games. It looks like he's still capable of throwing all the routes.
