Never. He wants it to be known.

I wonder if Jacobs new the league gave Jerry his pick.

Exactly, you had better punch them before they punch you, because the giants offensive line will grab, pull, twist and bite on you, while their defensive line will get after you, so you need to hit them in the mouth and get them to fear you like they did during the season of 2007. Strahan said that the giants feared the cowboys in both games the cowboys beat them during the regular season because the offensive line and defensive line puched them in the mouth.;

thats what you do against a physical team, hit them first, or like Jimmy Johnnson said, when you go against a big gorilla, you hit him with everything you go. You dont wait for him to hit you first.

Jerry gets what he wants. Which owner do you suppose is hugely responsible for those fat TV contracts. Cowboys always get the biggest ratings, and NY is the biggest TV market in the country. A+B=C

Did anyone really think Jerry had no input on who the first opponent would be?
Jerry has enough clout in the league to select the team he wants to face to open the stadium.
The giants are the biggest divisional opponent with the largest fan base (and also the easiest to defeat!) ;)

That's the understatement of the year....and I love it! :D

There's alot we can say about Jerry, but the way he markets the 'boys is second to none.
he markets a team that doesn't need any marketing.

seriously, Jerry needs to just go away and let Stephen take over.

I'm sure the Giants are just loving it.

Their defense is going to be jacked. Hopefully Dallas can match the intensity.

the last time it was known Jerry chose a team to play for a special occasion was the last game at Texas Stadium and we all know how that ended. I'm worried about this game because they know Jerry picked tham and because they're a very well coached, solid football team.

What? Why did Jerry pick the Ravens? This is the first I hear of it. What was his justification? Just curious....

I really don't think many care. It's not earth-shattering news. It's not going to effect the outcome of anything.

The good news is that the swagger is back.

The bad news is that it is mainly Jerry who has it.

Well the Giants probably care. Who wants to be thought of as an "easy mark" for a grand opening victory? Sure, they hate our guts anyway, but why give them any extra motivation? The mistake wasn't requesting the Giants; the mistake was letting that info get out (a la the Baltimore game last year).

Now that's laughable. :lmao:

Go away Jerry! You let the cat out of the bag about who we were going to play first!

I hope you never own your own business. Imagine if Coca-Cola stopped advertising because everyone has heard of Coke.

Who cares?

I wish someone would come out and tell them they are going to get beat Sunday.

We have no reason to fear this team. Outside of that stupid playoff game we have owned them with Romo at the helm.

Everyone has trashed the Cowboys this offseason and told us how great the Giants are.

Well Sunday night is put up or shut up.

Jerry didn't do this as an "easy mark". It's actually the opposite. He brought in the so called best in the division and told them to bring it.

If Jerry stopped marketing the Cowboys people are still gonna go to the games. Jerry markets them for the rich people not the real die hard fans.

I have been all week. I even refused to speak with one of my best friends(giants fan) the other day. I told him he was the enemy and I don't talk to giant scum this week.
