And that was when computers were just in the first stages of use!

In those days, computer were not as powerful as todays calculators...but the Cowboys used them to their advantage.

Now, like you said...everyone does it.

Danged o' internets iz killin' us man.Big brother tryin' to knock the Cowboyz down. Man I hate that danged o' Al Gore. First he invents the internets, next thang ya' know he'll be inventin' the world's first super-thermostat, keepin' it real on the whole globe warmin'. That's scientific stuff for all you dumb College learned jocks who coodn't lick that wonder test. Man I wish Al Gore wuz a Cowboy fan. Just think whut he could do with Jerrah's money and inventin' wayz to get us good again. Hell he could win a punitzer prize and a Souper bowl. I hope Jerry givz Al Gore a call. I'd pay me some money to see Tipper in a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleadr uniform. And Al would give us the appearunce of intellegents standin on the the sidelinez thinkin' bout football stuff.Hell hez from Tenussee & Payton Maneeng wuz from there. It's where they grow grate football minds. Bare Breye'nt member hem? Man Jerry man up, take off that Republican hat of yurz, put a new Green peece T-shirt with the sleevz cut out like you know it's warm and stuff and call Al Gore. Wunder if hez kin to Frank. Hez a playah.

Jerry's more interested in super stars than he is over-achieving team-oriented players. He gets what he wants.

Not that I expect it to change your mind.

In 1994 we drafted Larry Allen. He will end up in the Hall of Fame.

In 1997 we drafted Dexter Coakley who was a very good player for us.

In 1998 we drafted Greg Ellis and Flozell Adams. Both have started every year since then.

In 1999 we drafted Dat Nguyen and he was very solid for us.

In 2002 we drafted Roy Williams and Andre Gurode

The point is in 5 of those 9 years you touted we got people who were solid contributors to this football team. Yes, there were some bad Drafts too, but every team has them.

In any decent draft you should get at least one starter and one player who will stick around a s a good backup. That is the absolute BASEMENT.
You mentioned 7 players over a NINE YEAR PERIOD.

I could have mentioned others who fit your description. I focused on the best 7.

Those drafts were horrible, Hos.

And I wouldn't have put Greg Ellis on that list. Maybe my standards are just too high but I expect more from a top 10 pick.
