I am not sure this gives us any clue for the next HC but it's interesting. Stephen was complimentary of MM a few weeks ago but made a point we haven't had the post-season success they had hoped. I wonder if that will still be a major priority.

Zimmer.

Jerry will make the worst possible hire because that is what he does.
Well, you know the most important part….Jerry being “comfortable” and allowed to be the center of attention.

Not sure how many coaches with choices/options would sign up for PCs held outside the locker room after games and a FO that doesn’t use free agency….that’s just to start with. Oh and you’d be expected to take the lower end of the pay scale for the privilege. This is over for a while.

There’s no way Jerry is even going to interview Ben Johnson, and he would probably turn it down anyway.

As each day goes by the more evident it becomes that Kellen Moore is the next HC.
I see him having Moore on his list also.

4-5 years is about the maximum shelf life for any coach under Jerry...unless you were his hand-picked puppet like Garrett. And none of them except for Jimmy got an NFL HC job anywhere else after

Jimmy - 5 years
Switzer - 4 years
Gailey - 2 years
Campo - 3 years
Parcells - 4 years
Wade - 3.5 years
Garrett - 9 years
McCarthy - 5 years

Would Kellen be that bad of a choice? He has a great relationship with Dak and understands his weaknesses. Philadelphia has been good for him.

Unless you’re into more of the same around here, then yes it would.

And Jerry is going expect him to do “less with more,” same as Mike.

They blew the window.

Gailey was hired by the Buffalo Bills....

You have been a fan.long enough to know Jerry wants a certain type of coach. This Ben Johnson and Belicheck dream needs to stop. One has to be realistic about options,

I fully agree. There’s no way he is hiring either. Maybe whoever is similar a few years down the road, but not yet.

The next coach is going to have a tough time succeeding here. It’s been proven difficult to do even when the roster is pretty good. It’s going to take several years and a lot of correct choices to fix this quickly via draft only and without multiple first rounders.
