Cowboys owner Jerry Jones believes Doug Free is ready to start at left tackle.

Jones described Free as "more left tacklish than right tacklish." Seriously. Free's nimble footwork and athleticism makes him a natural fit on the left side, and he still has a shot to start in 2010 if the Cowboys decide to cut ties with Flozell Adams after the draft.

That put Flo's odds of being on the roster at less than 50/50 based on what JJ just said IMO. Also puts the odds of O Line being 2 of the first 3 picks greater than 50/50.

I think we should keep FLO one more year and draft a LT this year. To me, is a no brainer. But to Jerry, there is an allure to cuttng him and not taking a cap hit.

Great news about Free. I Love it! He would be playing out of his mind knowing his next contract will be based on being a starting LOT in the NFL.

Trading Flo would be more great news. Unlikely to happen with his contract unless some team suffers a injury and is desperate for a LOT. Even then his trade value is only a 5th rounder. He is clearly past his prime and teams needing (or think they need) a LOT can draft one and pay them millions and millions less than Flo or wait until cuts are being made in preseason and pick one up.
