Jerry Jones comments on Rob Ryan

and in everyones rush to raise their torches they didnt even comprehend what they were reading (if they even read it)....this was not taped Wed, it was taped monday with Mickey (before RR was fired) , lil Timmy just made it sound like it was just recorded...it wasnt ...and on top of that NO WHERE in Jerry's comments did he refer to the defense or Rob.....he is saying the "WE" as in the team needs to be better....he didnt single out anyone or any unit

:rake:

What difference does it make? He said this less than 24 hours before Ryan found out. You think the decision hadnt already been made?

this guy is very unprofessional then. Thats why I had asked for clarity. I read that article 4x and he put that together as if those were the quotes were recorded today. Thats a very poor job by this clown.

I am new on here, but I detect very much a drawn line beyween those that:

A. Think Garrett is Jerry's puppet

and

B. Those that think Jerry and Jason are gonna work some magic together.

Is this fair?

I always feel like I need a translator after I read anything Jerry says.

I feel like a need a bath.

B. is more people realize jones has issues but are tired of it dominating every single conversation out there. mention is and you are a happy fan.

In the end, I think it all boils down to the fact that he thinks he can do better with Horton or Lovie more than anything Ryan specifically did.

Which may actually be true, but once again Jerry is emasculating his coach while blubbering a bunch of nonsense that is completely besides the point.

lets assume for a moment that what you are hoping for is true. Lets just assume that Jerry is speaking out just because thats what he likes to do. Even if its the case, he is portraying the head coach as someone that doesnt make the call on key members of his staff. He makes Garrett look like a guy with no authority. Is that the message you want conveyed to players?

Of course not! That is my whole point. It makes it look like everything is all Jerry.

I think most of us are fine with Jerry's ego demanding to be heard on occasion. We don't mind the radio shows, press conferences, or anything else because...well, that's that Jerry.

But, you can't be undermining your coach. It's just bad business. You can't make it look like you made a unilateral decision without your coach's input. Maybe he doesn't want to make Jason look like a villain? Maybe he just has to be heard? Regardless of his motivations, he probably should have simply said nothing...As little as he said, Jason Garrett said enough.

For the record, the jerry jones quotes on KTVT were given on Monday, the day before he fired Rob Ryan

Am I understanding this right? Jerry was ranting about the SEA and CHI games before Rob Ryan was ever fired? Not that he just said it after the firing took place? Weirdly, that actually makes me feel somehow better.

Andy Reid didn't fire Castillo either, it was the front office.

Guess Reid was a puppet too, huh?

I know bro. Its awful. I also get the feeling that people on here dont want to hear others dwell on Jerry's shortcomings. IE. Ego, control freak, seeking approval etc. So I dont know much else to say.

I said this before. Front office makes the decision to fire someone.

wont matter....the masses have made up their minds

And he fired him the next day. What's the point here? Jerry may have made the comments before he fired him, but they still speak to why he fired him.

i love jerry but there is no way to defend this move .

You can defend the firing. You can defend it even better if it was the head coach's idea.

Wilson and Cutler completed 75% of their passes, threw for 10 yards per attempt and a 128 QB rating against us, it's not like the defense played great in those games either. Rob's defense is not impactful.

Crickets.
