Jerry Jones spent several hours at Valley Ranch Wednesday morning discussing free agency before he left to take part in a press conference at Cowboys Stadium for the upcoming fight.
Jones said he has a sense of what the club will be able to do in free agency and said the team is ready to start scheduling visits.
"I don't want to give a time, because this has everything to do with their schedules,'' Jones said.
Jones said he has enough information to act now on any player the Cowboys want if the situation warrants. But he also believes there will be some opportunities that are not yet apparent.
"I'm anticipating some value and opportunity that is not necessarily there right now,'' Jones said. "The process hasn't let us get there.
"Now, if that doesn't show, that will limit what I do.''
