So this seems to be the new lazy narrative people want to go with because I guess it gives people some sense of hope that if they get rid of Jerry things will be better. And they may....but at the end of the day Jerry is not the "head coach". To say such a thing is insulting to what head coaches do. If Jerry was truly the head coach he'd be winless.

He meddles. For sure. Maybe even "micromanages"....but McCarthy is the one running this team. When you hear Jerry speak on injuries and such through the media? He's speaking on what coaches and doctors have told him. Because he does have his ear to everything that's going on with this team. But no, he is not the "head coach". I'd probably even go as far as to say McCarthy has more power here than Parcells did. Jerry isn't springing a TO on McCarthy and honestly if he did McCarthy probably would be ok with it.

Jerry makes the final decisions based on the info he is given and goes by those suggestions. So blame those below him him for the misinformation (in your mind) that you disagree with.

Sure mistakes are made, but all teams make them. Look at the 12 years of mistakes TB made not making the playoffs before they brought in Arians, Bowles and Brady. Now they are considered geniuses?
