Joy to more threads on Jones and Wentz
the world is right. I want to see the picture of
JJones signing Wentz right after the draft

It's a good sign that he's able to stand in there and smile in the face of what must be an overpowering smell of liquor on Jerry's breath. Poise under pressure -- that's what we're looking for.

It's not liquor, it's wine. More specifically, Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon that you smell on Jerrah's breath.

Jerry is probably asking him "So how would you like to back up our back up next year in Johnny Manziel?"

Jerry said today we don't Have to draft a qb this draft.

How'd it turn out last year when he said we didn't need to draft a rb?

? Really really badly?
We missed out on a ton of very productive RBs that could have been had at a low cost

This reminds me (sort of, for reasons that belong in the rant zone) of January 2, 1989. Maybe some fellow older folks recall....

Tom Landry knew he had the first pick in the upcoming draft, presumed to be UCLA QB Troy Aikman.

Aikman's team just happened to be playing in the Cotton Bowl that year. After the game, Landry and Aikman shook hands on the field.

Of course we know what happened before that draft even came, but maybe there's a bit of the same type of fate ahead. There's always hope.

Free beer for anyone who can dig up a photo of that. Half price for everyone who recalls. Ha...

I take it your referring to the Cowboys drafting Wentz and not Jerry being gone by the time the draft comes around?

The former may well happen but the latter; not a snowballs chance in hell (unless Jerry passes on that is).

Best I could do my man. Landry watching Aikman @ practice prior to the Cotton Bowl. Does this warrant a Bud Light??? :D
