Good morning, lets do something like that again with your omen.

I look at combination where we were, with people talking about the december thing, like when my first year with cowboys, we only won one game first year and 3 years later we won the superbowl.

Two years later we played a significant game nad i still have the Commanders first game we won and the other Commander game we won 2 years later.

No, dont feel we put the team in jeopardy by not cutting folk sooner, but i do feel we felt we made the right decision yesterday. I do feel that folk is a good kicker, and he is a good young man, but we had to do something for our possible chances coming up.

Well you expected all day the saints would make it close, that would be like the time when we missed the field goal the saints would make it close, but when ware made that big play at end of the game was awesome. I do feel that was one of the most memorable games that brad sham has ever called. YOu know we just need to make those plays, you have to have those big plays to make those things work. Played where ware sacked brees at end of game, was awesome to hear again. He was determined and he did not override his medical advise. Was close, makes you wonder the way we rested ware with butler, if we can get a rotation here in the game, when you might need ware in close games to have him fresh.

The way spencer is coming on, he is creating problems for offenses and when you put ware in the middle you really have a defense that might be playing at his best, along with romo playing well too.

yes, i saw the way the skins played, and wished it could have happened, but we just have to step up and play our games the right way and win.

it is columbo is practicing, his game is with his hands and arms, and knowing him to be get back in the game, along with doug free progressing, their is no other way around it to get them in games and to play. Like now for our future, we have a player now in doug free.

You keep john phillips in there and youi can emaphsis it more and he is a better athelete and give credit to john garrett because he had him when john was coaching at viriginia (rembember zoners, john garrett had ogletree on the virginia team too)

no, i have impact that contribution that he has made with folk on the team, i have that imput on all players when we make a move. I know timing is fragile and i think it had more a septback with floks surgery, and it had somethintg to do with it i think.

we havent talked about who will hold, but its a better idea to have the punter holding.

let me say this, its impossible to go outside and get a kicker that can kick as a veteran, and we have had that happen to us over the past 20 years.

i think we need to win this game and next game and then we will be divisions champ.

i missed about 4 minutes zoners

i dont have anything to shanahan coming to the cowboys are wanting too

i think its uphill for us,

no, very positive about is the way roy w. is fitting in with our effort, spreading the ball around. Roy made a big play on the first drive. Doesnt surprise me roy has only 3 balls come his way, we have players where we can spread the ball around real well. You know your x wr that plays, he isnt a 1 or a 2 wr but he is set. I dont not think of him as a number one wr, and was different when we had T O and terrry glenn here their first year and i would have a hard time saying who is your number one wr. Hey i get it with everyoine wanting to say miles austin is number one wr, if you noticed our best ones dropped balls yesterday too.

Let me sum this up roy williams is an intergal part of what we have to do in the next 5 weeks if we get that chance.

on cowboys moving, that will be nbc's call, and they have the option to make a change on cowboys eagles game, if NBC wants to put the game on prime time.

talked about annual trips to hospital with our cowboys players visiting disadvanted children< very visable to bring joy to those young kids>

our family christmas is wil be hard not to talk about Commanders game< but usually will be some kind of soccer game< im a half court guy< they dont throw me the ball much>

thats it zoners< lets get these Commanders jerry said>

Is it possible to have two night games in a row?

yep, jerry said, after the Commanders cowboys game coming up that NBC would make the decision if they want a big highlight game at night for bigger exposure on their network

most likely they will; but you never know

Just try and ignore the pungent odor of those remarks.

It's like flatulence on a crowded elevator.

So Jerry Jones agrees that Ware should be on a rotation to keep him fresh. Hmmm..

I tried to tell some of you zoners that yesterday in a post, some of you said ware was kidding.

I think it has some merit and we need to remind wade of that;

even bradie james said that butler played a very good game on first and 2nd downs

well according to Wade, Butler do not have a good game. And if Wade "MR. Positive" Phillips says you didn't play very well, you must have played pretty poorly.

I do think Ware has to be rested and Butler needs to play more. But you can't make Ware just a situational pass rusher.

i know wade said that, but bradie james said butler played an awesome game to give ware some rest, etc

I didn't hear Butler's name called a lot. That's normally a good thing right. I think Wade is trying to keep the kid hungry that's all

Right.
And from other things I reead and heard, this rotarion was more because of the injury, to see how he was going to play. Next week or expecially against the Eagles, I think he will play his normal amount of plays.

Jerry: 'We've got a player in Doug Free'
December, 22, 2009 Dec 223:41PM CTEmail Print Share By Tim MacMahonIRVING, Texas -- Right tackle Marc Colombo might be able to return for the playoffs. The Dallas Cowboys haven't missed him nearly as much as anticipated while he recovers from a broken fibula and ankle surgery.

That's no knock on Colombo. It's a compliment to his replacement, Doug Free.

The 6-6, 313-pound Free, a fourth-round pick in 2007, appears to have ended the Cowboys' drought of drafting a starting-quality offensive lineman.

The Cowboys haven't had to give Free an inordinate amount of help. He's not as powerful as Colombo, but he has good quickness for his size and does a solid job of sticking on blocks.

"Free is a great example of young players and how they progress when they get to play," owner/general manager Jerry Jones said on KRLD-FM. "There’s just no other way around it. You’ve got to get in games and let them play games and they get better right before your eyes.

"I’m glad, for not only where we are but for the future, that Doug has had this opportunity. As we look to our decisions in the offensive line, we know we’ve got a player in Doug Free."Tags:Dallas Cowboys, Marc Colombo, Doug Free, Jerry Jones

I remember when we drafted him we were all stoked. I'm really hoping that with this audition that he continues to show improvement to the point where we don't have to jump on a OT to early in the draft .

The Jerry Jones Show - Dec 22, 2009

That Brad Sham call was pretty awsome.

Jerry just let you know that he sent word to Wade that Ware needs a few more plays off during the game so he's fresh at the end.

Who the hell is Marco Colombo? lol. I really hope Mondo is the head coach of the Cowboys next season.

Roy Williams is lucky to still be starting over Crayton.
