I missed the first couple of minutes

jerry; our defense is only getting better and better, like college players that play 2 years with the first year and bowl games, now our players are playing together and jelling together and will even get better then playing right now. The arrow of these players like igor, jenkins, spencer, and others will only get better as they play together. I see our defense now playing to their responsibilities and not peeking in the backfield because they are all trusting each other to do their job. This is a big big plus for us.

Nothing pleased me more than all of our fans there hollering with the stadium packed, and seeing keith brooking on the big video board telling our players its us and our 90,000 plus fans agaisnt the 11 players opposing us on the field, now go out there and lay it on the line and win, hit them in the face, etc, and win. And i think with our huge crowd hollering and our players used to it, that when we play in minnesotta that they will be ready for that crowd noise. Again, i want to thanks the fans for their support.
I wish to also thank all of the cowboys fans that were there giving the eagles u know what! WOOHOO, was great to hear on tv!! So i salute you cowboys fans that were at the game!

jerry, they have a rule in the nfl of opening your stadium and having fans support your team while they are playing another team in another area, but we have asked about it and are still asking the nfl if we can do this;

jerry; im in awe of it, with hardly no injuries, like in 2007 we were healthy but hated we had that chance in 2007 to win and we didnt, but last year we had all of those injuries with romo, mcbrair, kosier, but you see teams play in face of injury. So, we were very lucky this year with hardly no injuries

jerry; we have a suite where i have all of my scouting dept staff in with me watching the game and this elevator came up and the former president was on it, and watched game with us, was a delight that bush was there

one fan called in where is our promo with us being in nfl in playoffs and tv not giving us that credit

jerry, choice is no issue with a concussion, and we did examine him throughly and practiced yesterday, and barber trainers told me that he should be ready to go

jerry on pachy fight, will have tickerts on sale next week some time, and he has interest all over the world, and this allows us to say hey,this is a premier event and we can have it at our new stadium, we will drop that big board down to about 30 feet above the fighters and u will see the look in their eyes, we will have an announcement next monday

jerry, i remember great time we have the gant and bates camps to root the cowboys on, and were thinking of what we can do

thats it, again i missed alittle

will try to post the podcast if they put it up later;

Im kinda lost is Jerry saying he might open the stadium sunday for fans to support the cowboys during the game? That would be awesome to watch the whole game on that screen with a ton of cowboy fans

WHY?

*** kinda sense argument is there for not allowing fans to go to a stadium when no game is competing in the area?

Im guessing im not sure that it would hurt tv ratings with like 50,000 people all watching one TV. And or it would hurt local bars that people go to to watch games. I doubt that the NFL cares about the local bars but would worry about the TV ratings. I really cant think of anything else why wouldnt they let this happen its just more money teams could bring in. I dont know

dont really know, all i know is, that question what asked jerry jones on thefan today if fans came out and he let them watch it on the big video board,,, etc, jerry said that its against NFL rules. Jerry is trying to see if he can change that rule, but right now he cant, thats all i know

again, subject was brought up about having a pep rally for fans to support the team before they head for minny, jerry is trying to come upwith something

someone mentioned how awesome it was when bill bates had the pep rally at his ranch; any ideals? or suggestions?

It must be something along those lines, but how cool would it be to go watch the game on the Jerrytron at the stadium with several thousand other fans?

I find this a little surprising. My brother-in-law is a Bengal season ticket holder and he takes the family to their stadium to watch Bengal road games. The only difference is they don't have a Jumbotron of course. But still.....

One thing for sure, if there is a way for Jerry to make some money from this, I'll bet he will make it happen!

I dont get what the big deal is about not letting the fans watch the game at the stadium??? It cant be ratings, 50k or so people out of the entire country is not going to affect the ratings hardly at all.

I have gone to the AT&T Center several times for "watch parties" when the Spurs were playing road games in the playoffs the last couple of years. It was all pretty cool and everybody had a good time, so I dont see what the difference is.

Why is the NFL prohibiting it???

Joe, this is a good thread with a real question...as opposed to other fans wanting a billboard insulting Jerry as the GM accross from the new stadium.

Difference may be if you are charging people to watch. Nfl probably doesnt want to see guys like Jerry making any more money. If it is free than they probably dont care like the Bengals maybe were doing. They have had stadiums opened before to watch games when the home team was on the road ,not sure NFL
I dont think Jerry can fire up the Jumbotron without spending $50,000 on the electric bill that day LOL
