Yeah I'm not one of those,

which by the way there was a guy on Facebook that literally said we should purposely lose the rest of our games nine games in order to get a better draft pick, i've never heard that in my life, it's getting worse out there ,you use a nice word it didn't get you benched, but I have some more choice words for those kind of fans..

This is the way you look at it you never tank this front office and coaching staff and players will never purposely lose a game, i've never seen it even at the end of 2020 and some other seasons, you could have got a better draft pick by putting your worst players on the field you could just say it was to get them snaps but organically if you're bad, you're going to get a good draft anyway

BUT IF We're mathematically in it,

You play to win the games ,you still have to make as many changes and adjustments as possible from the coaches standpoint, and that is why this thread is frustrating,

jerry's right, he should have just said it's possible ,anything's possible, it's a big maybe right now, because I haven't seen anything that has made me want to make a trade...

but if he wants to he could take a couple guys off the practice squad, he can demote some guys, he can deactivate a few guys, make some changes what you have within, then you have about 4 guys coming back off IR, And then you look over at the free agents pool ,and you bring a guy like Kendricks , possibly maybe Gilmore, maybe Simmons the safety, You can pose some practice squad players from other teams they do it to us.....

NOW, You've made several changes ,

You don't know how they're gonna work and now you can tell the fans, I'm going to bring in a player in a trade a small trade something for a 3rd rounder or 4th rounder we're not gonna use our top picks And then you make your last move then you can make that move the linebacker a safety whatever it is you believe you can help the team with but it's not one move he's right what he was saying last week is going to take more than 1 move it doesn't need to be a high draft pick you don't need a guy like Crosby you don't need that kind of trade you just need to make multiple changes on all layers of your defense and see how it sticks..

Yeah I'm a little frustrated he didn't start doing this two weeks ago started this purge it didn't have to be anything big but more changes should have been started so it would have been a process to get done before the bye week and see if they were working so then you can decide to make that one move in a trade..

This team needs a flush and "dump" the ... we like our players ... mantra.

I think there will be many FA's in 2026 that will not be back.
They will keep some as usual. But they need to move on from quite a few.

That only applies for the ones they don't like but when someone like Parsons gets moved because of his antics his drama he caused and he asked for too much he would be here if he'd accepted the $41 million which was a very fair offer he wanted to be a cowboy he would have just had his agent go write it up edit any details you'd like to add in for years and other things but instead they said they didn't even want to hear Jerry's pitch if it wasn't going to be closer to what they wanted their demand got too big and we allowed one of our best players to go for the 1st time ever but apparently Jerry doesn't like all his guys because he allowed Parsons to walk..

Are also complaining about Lewis and I agree probably a mistake they let Rico go he's doing well so that must be a mistake but sure there are a lot of other players like Tank and others that are playing on other teams so apparently Jerry doesn't like his guys that much..

There's an awful lot of muttering going on for those players I just mentioned like we could still have them and should have kept them I mean hell some of them are going back to the year before we should have kept Armstrong, I mean they should have hung on the Golston,

yeah, hindsight is precious in here it's overused just like that term.

Purged so many players it's crazy but if you allow one of their pet cats to go off the practice squad like Holden or Zion Childress this place goes crazy but I thought Jerry likes his guys why is he allowing these guys to be nabbed off the practice squad?.

Yeah they make up those narratives and those sayings only to fit there needs at the time so they'll use it but when it comes time for all those other players that Jerry didn't keep now they say Jerry was stupid for letting them go they it'll never be peaceful around here because nothing Jerry does will ever be good anything that happens that is positive they'll say Will Mcclay did it they'll say a scout did it or the coach did it but if it's bad it must be Jerry...

We have discussed most of the names available at the position:

-Logan Wilson Cincy-made a trade request recently.
-Quincey Williams Jets-our DL coach was on their staff last yr.
-Damario Davis Saints-this is less likely now, as he is 36 and more of a rental
-Cody Barton Titans-don't know much about him, but his name has been linked to the Cowboys

If they do make an addition, my favorite out of the group would be Quincey. He is a physical, downhill player that could be apart of the team moving forward.
