That's all fine and dandy but where does that help Murray in the running game. Giving Romo more time helps Romo in the passing game but does nothing for third and one/goal. Romo can call his own plays all day but that doesn't help in the trenches, just when he lets go of the ball, and for all we now he may like those 5-7 step drop backs. Then what.

If only it was that easy, if you can't protect your QB the D pretty much knows you don't have time to go deep and will adjust accordingly

I think he means garrett offense suck. So maybe a change in offense scheme can make our oline look better.

I still want to get a guard and or center in this draft along with signing a tackle in fa. We cannot keep free sucking like he did last year.

I also heard them recap it the interview on the fan. Mickey made it sound like maybe they should quit being so stubborn, and call plays to react to what the defense is doing. He went back to the last skins game of how they were bringing the house, and we just kept running our offense, meaning deep outs, long developing plays etc.

That's always been my biggest gripe with JG, outside of he seems to not have a feel for calling plays, or rhythm. Hopefully that changes this year.

Why not? Rather than actually getting guys who can play, just change the coaches or the systems or whatever else so it frees up the ability to do whatever tickles his fancy on draft day.
