What big secret exactly was given away? In what way does this help Philly? Do you really think the Eagles are going to do something different now that they know the Cowboys have been preparing for them?

This issue has already been settled. You might want to look at subsequent posts. Thanks.

Since beating the Tennessee Titans this past Sunday, the Eagles have maintained that they did not start worrying about the Dallas Cowboys and their Thanksgiving matchup until after the game was over.

Yeah, well that's BS.

Now, Dallas. Davis said there will be no review of yesterday's game, coaches were going back to NovaCare to install the Thursday game plan as you slept. They will rely heavily on their offseason and bye-week work on the Cowboys, he said. The players, normally off today, will practice extensively, as if this were a Thursday before a Sunday game. Get your ice bags ready, fellas.

You mentioned Tex Schramm. Tex Schramm is no longer a GM. Furthermore, you only mentioned ONE. If this is a common practice, I'm expecting more than Tex Schramm and an example from the thrilling days of yesteryear.
I'm not trying to be a smart-aleck, but my question still stands: Do GMs regularly talk to the media?

Yes. Maybe not in the same way as Jerry does, but many of them do.

When the Eagles played Carolina the Monday night going into our bye, I was thinking our coaching staff was probably watching the game and drawing up some of the game plan together.

But how do you fix our D? You know the old saying, "you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear..."

sometimes I get confused listening to Jones family...secret sauce, hay in barn. Can we just call it now - there needs to be reality show with Jones family. I don't say that out of envy but sheer confusion it would bring and yes ratings.

I would watch it because I would find them all fascinating.

How they can be that wealthy and successful, yet so ignorant at the same time.

It would be extremely entertaining to watch.

Used car salesmen. A ford on Tuesday and a Chevy on Wednesday. They're both better than the other.

OK, Jerry - now how do you look going public saying the Cowboys spent weeks preparing for this game and this happened?

Would have been better to never say anything.
