Jones:
-Among league leaders in fewest penaltis before KC, thinks that game was an aberration right now.
-Intimating there is alot of inconsistency among the league official crews on how each crew calls certain things.
-Thinks the Ball penalty should maybe lead to reviewing the way rule is interpreted by comp committee
-Was asked and clarifies what he meant by saying "I cant coach that out of him" in regards to Ball. Clearly they took that quote and ran with it the wrong way after hearing his explanation.
-Says no plans to make any moves before Tuesday trade deadline.
-Says Rossum was an "opportunity" to really upgrade PR game. Says he has always liked Crayton's hands back there, but Rossum gives them chances to make more plays in PR game.
-Disappointed in early drop or two by Austin vs KC, but otherwise is glowing on him. Sounds like they are going to focus on getting Austin the ball more.
-Barber getting better physically. You can tell he likes Choice alot of though.
-Commenting on Keith Brooking leadership. Said Brooking addressed the team the week before KC game.
-Asked about where he'd like to see most improvement, says defense. Says Rossum can make impact in kicking game with big plays.
-The comment on Wade, says he wasnt going to fire him win or lose. Says he did not visit with anyone else while out of town. (radio guys said there were rumors he was talking to someone else, Jerry shot that down)
-The stuff on Giants 2007, how that team and coach were in trouble early in year.

I liked the part about Jerry going out to the practice field as practice was ending one day and Brooking being there talking to the entire team around him... No coaches, just Keith addressing everyone about how important this game was.
And the Flozell part was a very small part of the interview. They asked about his penalties, and Jerry just gave some generic rambling without much of an answer. What can he say? Flo has been this way his whole career, under several different coaches, and he isn't going to change.
Jerry gets beat up a lot, and I've done it some myself, but this show was perfectly reasonable IMO.
BTW, Jagger is a total tool. How is this yoyo doing the official show. Ugh.
