Best thing I've seen him say in some time. The delusion of being "close" causes stagnation and minimal changes - just need to work harder.

Recognizing there are flaws is good. Now if only he knew how to fix them.

The crazy thing about being a Cowboys fan in the Jones era is we are supposed to somehow make sense out of their nonsense.

Now that I watched the video he isn't saying the team is a long ways away personnel wise. He's saying the calendar makes them a long ways away. It's Senior Bowl time. There's a lot that has to go on before you can compete for a Super Bowl again, as is the case every January when you're eliminated, is all he's saying.

Did anybody actually listen to the interview, or is it just easier and more fun to assume what he said from a headline? After all, headlines always accurately reflect the story and are never intended to mislead for the purpose of hooking readers, right?

He talked about how long it is until the next Suoer Bowl is played, and how long it seems while having to go through everything it takes to get there. He did not say the team lacks the ability to make it.
