Mr Jerry Jones, first let me say, that I have appreciated through the years all that you have tried to do to get the Cowboys back on top. I even talked to you on the phone a couple of times back in 93. How you let Jimmy Johnson lead the Cowboys back to championships won me over to you in those early 90's. That to me showed that you cared and really wanted to win, no matter what it took or whom was in charge, just win.

Then, after the Cowboys declined after 1996, you tried you way, then finally went with Bill Parcells to rebuild the team. That on your part showed you really cared again, ego aside and wanted to win. Right there, you were being the man that your suppose to be. I know that you have paid out a ton of money in bonuses to players over 140 million the last few years to Romo, Witten, Flozell, Leonard Davis, Gurode, Hamlin, Newman, T O, Roy Williams the WR and Ratliff along with others like Columbo, James, and Barber. That shows a real committment to the team and the fans.

Yet, at the same time, its like a person told me one time, the players are looking at the money issue the wrong way. You have to win championships first, like the Cowboys did in the 90's, be a team united first, then after you win those championship games and super bowls, then the money, stats, glitz, honor, and pro bowl honors will come, but first you have to win. Thats something to me that the Cowboy players dont understand, or show heart and intensity about. Its like nate newton and bill bates said one time, they were both scared every day that they would get fired, or cut or traded, that Jimmy Johnson would do that to them. If players dont have fear of the head coach and respect of him, but can go to you and complain like some players like Greg Ellis do over the head coach, then where in heavens name is the true leadership from the front office?

Its like you said after the Rams game Mr Jones, you would find out whom isnt giving 110 % and those players woudnt be on the team. To me, I feel some players on this team arent scared or worried about losing their jobs. They know they can go and complain and gripe to you, and you will listen. Like you said, the buck stops with you, well, be the Man Mr Jones and step up and deliver.

It takes a strong man to see if he has made some mistakes, and you have said at times you have made your share, which we all make mistakes, its how you learn from them before you can go on. My comment to that Mr Jones, are you aware after the Phily game on the airplane ride back, that some players on the airplane after the Eagles embarrased you, the Cowboy players and the fans, that some players were laughing and cutting up on the plane ride back home from Phily? Are you aware after you left the locker room after the Rams game, after you vented you anger, that some players were laughing and cutting up? Just like you know and all of us fans know, their are about 5 unnamed sources that are reporting to Ed Werder and Espn, etc.

I dont know who those players were, but I do know back in the late 1980's, there was a leak in the front office, main culprit I heard at that time, was a secretary in the front office. Thats what I heard through the grapevine. So, whom the unnamed sources are, I dont know, but you need to nip that in the bud too.

Finally, the issue with Dan Reeves, if this issue is over a time clock issue, or whatever, that needs to be resolved and settled Mr Jones, I was crying as a fan, when I heard that and the issue wasnt settled. Just like the perception that fans took over what Romo said, after the Phily game, and Babe Laufenberg told Romo, was he aware of a fan that was like bleeding through the eyes over that loss, because he had gotten his playoffs tickets and was ready to go to the playoffs. ARE Players really aware of the perception that they give fans of the Dallas Cowboys Mr Jones, and do those players really understand how they hurt, bleed blue, when the players play like they do, or do some players really honestly care? A different attitude needs to be taken on the Cowboys team, the glitz, glamour needs to be replaced with heart, intensity and hard work with hitting in practice back to the good old days of slobber knocker smash mouth football. If the players gripe and complain, thats tough, their hired and paid a ton of money to play and win. So, just like the players, Dan Reeves issue needs to be settled, you and Mr Reeves come to a understanding for what is good for the team. Just think how Mr Reeves could help during games in the upstairs booth giving plays, etc to Jason Garrett. Obviously, whomever was calling what he saw down on the field to Jason Garrett from the booths last year, wasnt working. And I honestly think Dan Reeves can help Jason Garrett and you with the Cowboys. You cant get any better, than a former player whom started with the Cowboys as a rookie, worked under great coach Tom Landry, and took 4 different teams to the superbowl. Just think of all the PR you could get with that Mr Jones if Dan Reeves helps the Cowboys get to the big game this year. BE THE MAN MR. JONES AND GET IT DONE! THATS WHAT WE THE COWBOYS FANS WANT, LISTEN TO WHAT WE WANT AND ARE SAYING, GET IT DONE!:star:

And not hiring another >60 year old cook for the kitchen who has proven he cannot work with top notch QBs (he actually thought Dave Brown was the franchise and tried to sit Elway for Tommy Maddux) was the best decision so far this offseason. What you should do is hire a fresh young coach or at least one who reigned in Brett Farve (Romos idol) or Elways last coach to show that you are hiring a football man who was not 5 years removed from the league.

BE THE MAN MR. JONES AND GET IT DONE! THATS WHAT WE THE COWBOYS

Ok, as some of you know, a fan from buffalo posted on the cowboys board, how when wade was head coach of the buffalo bills, like on fridays, he would say im going to lunch with my wife, but wade didnt come back that afternoon.

What is jerry jones finally sees that, and figured that out, so, jerry jones put in this time clock issue with dan reeves, which in actuality, insults the integrity of dan reeves as a former head coach and player. Which gets right down to the issue of trust between dan reeves and jerry jones.

but what if this whole issue is about wade phillips taking some time off last year, like remember the cardinal loss and good ole wade phillips giving the players an extra day off. Then later wade gives players more days off, and when the media asks, what are you giving the players extra days off and wade says im saving their legs. Yet, what if, wade was taking time off too, doesnt it stand to reason, that if the players arent in camp, due to an extra day off, then the head coach doesnt have to work as hard, and he gets some extra time off too. What if this is the whole issue, and jerry jones is trying to be sure and get his moneys worth from dan reeves?

I am probably wrong, but just what if?

there has to be to me, a reason why jerry jones put in that time clock issue,

you may be right to a degree too, if you look at the coaches that got to the final 4, 3 out of the 4 were basically young coaches, in tomlin, whisenhunt, and harbaruagh from ravens.

its kinda like a media writer jenn engel said, she tought the way to go was a young head coach due to fact, most veteran head coaches like Parcells, Holgrem from seattle, that won superbowls, when they went to another team, they didnt win that superbowl, maybe because they lost that fire, intensity after they won their first or 2nd superbowl
