Do you think when he made those TO comments, (you know about sleeping on the star) that he had spoken with Parcells beforehand?

I would think so......

No, I don't believe he did.

I think he was just speaking his mind.

First of all that quote was before TO signed with Eagles, so it was two years ago, when TO still was FA. And that was to obviously when he was asked if he was willing to take on TO and is problems.

His later comments were not definitive but kind of in the lines of he might take on troubled players. Who knows if he talked to BP about it or not though. Too many rumors and innuendo about it.

I for One am not about to forgive him for what he did. I dont have a short term memory, and I dont want to sacrifice the clubs integrity, and hte character that we have on it right now for this guy.

For those of you who think he is just going to get it, what makes you think so. He's been in the league for 10 years. He's 32 years old. You really think he's going to mature just like that? You think BP has a magic touch that is just going to work on him?

Anyone making a Keyshawn comparison, citing TB incidents, you're just wrong. Keyshawn is a team guy. TO is a me guy. He gets to the SB with the Eagles, they lose, and instead of thinking about how he's getting back there, he starts talking about how soft his QB is.

I dont want our players out there yelling AT one another like that. You dont call your QB out in the media like that. And he's done it twice. He calls Donovan a choke artist and prior to that calls Jeff Garcia gay. There's a difference between being a clown ON the field, and OFF it. Randy Moss had his little run in with the law up in Minnesota, but besides that, he keeps most of his crap on the field.

He danced on the Star, the symbol of our great franchise, and you people want him on your team?

There is a bit of a difference considering TO was trashing teammates to the media. Many things are said on the field and on the sidelines due to the emotions of the game but you don't trash teammates to the media they will feed on it and keep it an issue long after the issue is over between the players.

No they weren't. That wasn't 3 months ago he made those comments about TO sleeping on the star. Right after he had been kicked off the Eagles. They were made in jest, but they were made recently. It wasn't shown live, but recapped during the game with some video footage...afterwards saying Jerry leaned over and said in a jokenly southern voice that he could even sleep on the star if he wanted. Now during the interview, in the part they showed, they asked Jerry about the differences between TO being availble now compared to when he was just prior to joining the Eagles, so maybe that's where you're getting confused.

I just confuse myself when trying to guess which players Jerry and Parcells may attempt to pursue, unless we're dealing with former Patriots and Jets.

I could honestly buy each of the following statements:

1) Parcells would never tolerate a player like TO. No chance he comes here.

2) Parcells is confident enough in his psychological tactics, and given his need to win immediately, will pursue TO.

I am the fickled of fickled here. LOL.
