Man, you must do a ton of avoidance to not even notice the slew of good players teams have to let walk due to salary cap issues. I mean, this is blatantly obvious. It's why we traded away Parsons.

The Chiefs just missed the playoffs this season due to the salary cap.

And you're forgetting the key backup Golston. He had 5.5 sacks in 24, starting 13 games and coming off the bench in the others. Very solid key backup type.

Yeah think of how horrible it would be to be the Chiefs . The plan should be to max out your cap, win super bowls, and then rebuild…rinse and repeat.

The days of building a decade long dynasty are way over. You build for a 4 year window…Jerry has never even attempted to even open the window.
