How honest do you want Jerry to be?
Can he tell you about his one illegitimate daughter and that he might have more? He's had several STDs and now has herpes? That his kids are not really smart and are even less NFL smart. Or that one day they will be running the team, while you keep pulling and buying the "gear" crap. He doesn't feel as strong about winning it all now, and that just making money is the real thing he worries about. And about how losing the fame and attention he gets would kill him. That his wife only stays for the money.
