he wasnt on ESPN. He was doing his usual post game press conference. ESPN just carried i imagine because of all the distractions jerry has caused recently and because dallas got blown out.

also, Jerry blamed green's problems tonight on atlanta's scheme using the wide 9 technique.

I couldn't believe he said that out loud. That makes the coaching staff here seem completely incompetent. I mean if he got beat once and they said the scheme got em its one thing, but every snap of the game?
The old 9 wide technique?!!! Why did not we think of that?

Right. ESPN reported his conversation.

I wonder what it feels like as an owner to win three Super Bowls in eight years in the league, and then for the next twenty two years after that, and maybe even up to the the time you pass away, win no more?

Well, that's how Jerry is probably going to feel. He may even be OK with it.

Of course he is.

Not being OK with this team would be an indictment of him, no one else. He picked the head coach. He essentially builds the roster. He's not your typical owner that hires a GM who hires the coach where he can blame the GM.

This franchise is basically FUBAR'd until he relinquishes control to his kid who operates the team like a real NFL franchise and not their owner personal version of Madden football.

How do you know Stephen knows football? He’s Garrett’s biggest supporter..

Pretty sure Philly loves the wide nine, gulp.

I don't. At this point, I am just hoping he has more sense than his father. They aren't selling the team so all we have at this point is the hope that when the son takes full control, he delegates more to football people and shows a bit of smarts his dad doesn't show. I mean at least Stephen was smart enough to know his father was being a total moron when Jerry wanted to take Manziel.

With four all-players removed from a roster...all poignantly missed...what should we expect?

Stephen Jones has been lock step with Lacewell and Father Garrett since 1997 in Personnel... he thought we were picking Sharif Floyd and had no idea Marinelli didn’t want him..

I would guess it's not too much to then ask for a coaching staff to not compound the problems caused by the lost players.............. but sure enough, they did that today.

Then we are screwed. I might as well find another team to root for if Stephen is going to be as dumb, if not dumber, than his father.

I agree that Marinelli's lack of giving a RB or TE help is a puzzler.

If you want evidence my man, here it is. Marinelli was made DC in January, so we are taking about 4 months of total obliviousness and miscommunication.

This is what I think led to
McClay getting a bigger role.

I agree that losing the players we lost matters. But I expect NFL coaches to adjust things to try to take advantage of what is left.

It sure looked like they were playing as if everything was the same. And when that clearly wasn't working, still no changes.
