Recap: Jerry on the ticket

I wonder if Caliendo does Jerry? I would pay to see that.

Edit:

He does, just watched it. Kinda disappointed thou. So many directions to go on that one and he went with Spaulding. Kind of a bummer.

There are a few things I'm excited about defensively:

McClain had a good game and if he keeps it up he will add some physicality that is much needed on the defense
Mincey was much more active pass rush wise then people thought and was physical against the run
It's really looking like we could get Scandrick back before four games if they come to an agreement on the drug policy
In limited snaps Melton looked very disruptive and could be as good or even better then hatcher last year.

He said the nines played conservative in the second half and didn't allow turnovers to help get us back in it.

He didn't feel they would have won if the turnovers didn't happen.

You sure this wasn't fake Jerry?

So it pretty much supports what people are saying. San Fran wasn't trying to run up the score in the second half. They were trying to play conservative and use up the clock.

This defense will come back down to reality. Let's just hope Romo doesn't single handedly make the offense worse than the defense again.

Don't say that to loud ya might get attacked for it. Even though that's exactly what went on.

Thanks for the recap great job!

Winning cures everything. Win more and folks won't sell their tickets.

Exactly

Fans don't like the product on the field and $300 is a lot of money these days. I don't hold it against anybody that sells their tickets

We will see this how the defense plays this sunday.....If Tenn scores at will then the Cowboys are in real trouble...Jake Locker and Tenn is no were near the caliber offense that the 49ers are......my guess it will be 2 evenly matched "improving" teams......but you never no about these Dallas Cowboys .........

I think Tennessee is gonna surprise people this year. They have a very underrated defense. I think their defense will be top 7-8 this year. Sort of like how Carolina seemed to come out of nowhere. And their O-line is scary. They've been spending 1st round picks and big free agency money on O-linemen. They have playmakers on offense too. Really, the only issue is Jake Locker. But, if you remember, he was considered to be the #1 overall pick after his junior year and he decided to stay an extra year and his stock dropped. If Locker is decent, Tennessee is my sleeper pick this year. This team is scary.

Ok here goes and bare with my spelling and punctuation

He said the nines played conservative in the second half and didn't allow turnovers to help get us back in it.
Garrett told the coaches to not focus on the" what if's" with regards to the turnovers and focus on what they did wrong.

He didn't feel they would have won if the turnovers didn't happen.

He spoke about Romo's performance and he said he is a perfectionist who sees the field well and on Sunday he didn't do that. He said his mechanics were off which affected his arm strength (he sounded like a coach here)

The goalie play Romo saw the nines in the gaps and he checked out and the line run blocked instead of pass. He said he should have went with the higher percentage play. He reiterated how he wants to get be perfect.

He said the fan issue now that he can look back on it is he sees a lot of cowboys fans at away games and we had a lot of fans in the suites. He admitted the second market tickets affects games and the Avg ticket was $300.00 for Sunday and he can see why someone would stay home rather then spend the money with the family.

He said a lot niners fans from Cali are transplants in Texas due to economic struggles there.

He was asked is this a reflection of the 8-8 finishes and he said he is interested in having a team better than 8-8 and it drives him to make things better and it is his top priority to fix it.

Durant is the only ques. player going into Sunday

This is a brief recap not word for word

He didn't have excuses in my mind and that was actually tolerable to listen to. Dare I say it might be sinking into his head finally.

Sinking into his head that his team isn't any good, or that he's the reason why they aren't any good

Jerry should not care what the Niners (or any other opponent) are NOT doing, he should be more concerned about what the Cowboys are doing or NOT doing instead. Romo should have been instructed NOT to audible out of ANY run plays when his arm and/or reads were so OFF on Sunday. Garrett needs to be able to lay down the law in those situations. Romo was pressing and everyone knew it, it is up to Garrett to calm him down and keep the team in the game by maximizing opportunities instead of literally throwing them away.

I usually won't even open it and I don't typically listen at all but for some reason today I did and for the first time I listened to a man that's sounds like reality might be setting in....stay tuned

If this is true and reality may be setting in, I'm good to lose a couple games for the exclamation point to be made for Jerry. Meaning I am willing to sacrifice the mediocre present if it means the future may be brighter. I just hope they beat the rams in two weeks cuz I'll be at that game screaming my head off.

SF runs a conservative offense all the time. They had the fewest pass attempts in the league last year. 3rd most rushing attempts @31.5/game in 2013.

That is a good snapshot...and smart man.
