Jerry: Prescott is the best leader I've ever been around

Of course Jerry would think that Dak (someone that has lead this team to nothing) is a better leader than the QB that won him 3 Championships
Troy didn't lead those teams.

I'll also say that leadership doesn't guarantee results. General Lee led the South in a humiliating loss...but does anyone deny that he outclassed most Northern generals? Dak is a great off-the-field leader who gets deer-in-the-headlights in the biggest game. This is actually kinda normal...it's the exceptional leaders that stay the same in big moments. Not everyone can pull if off.

That is a shot at Troy and Jimmy. Dak may very well be a good leader but it isn’t on the same level as those two.
Troy will tell you that Michael was a more vocal leader. It's all over the Netflix documentary...it's not a secret. Michael was the heart and soul of those teams. And when he was paired with Jimmy he was a second pair of eyes/ears about who REALLY wanted to win.

Troy was obviously a leader, but not THE leader. That was Michael.

Right? Just when Jerry does something cool, like flipping a goofy Jets fan off while we're running it up, he's gotta do something stupid to put things back into perspective.:muttley:

This crap is too funny. Everybody hates Jerry because he's an NFL imposter loser idiot, but once he says something about his son, he's a genius. LMAO... you can't make this crap up.....

Yea but I will always think Irvin was the alpha who motivated his teammates to another level. That is just a different kind of leader to me.

Again the best leader Jerry has ever been around ran his arss out of the locker room and off the sideline away from the players...so he ran him out of town. And before i get the "Jimmy left" yeah so did Micah.....

I dont think there is anything wrong with what he said. I agree with him.

We agree for sure. Michael was the true leader of that team. Troy was a leader, but the voice of the locker room and the heart and soul of that time was Michael Irvin. I was 19 and an avid football fan when we won in 1992. Just watch any footage of the game and you see Michael motivating the team. The defense too. He was everywhere on that sideline.
