Jerry promises changes are coming

Is this Jerry's annual mea culpa and assurance that "things will be different from here on out, promise"?

yep the same one we hear every other year.

Good to see most fans sobering up though. Usually, there are a significant number hanging on his every word and believing that next year will be different

I think Jerry listens to the outcry from fans and takes it personally. His comments Sunday nite are a reflection of that. Now, after that has had time to wear off, we'll see if he still wants to do something about this stuff.

*** is wrong with this dude? Why would you be proud of your arch rival? :banghead:

He wants to see the East do good.

He was questioned by a news team while out with his wife.

i assume most people would be as nonchalant at that time

There will be changes made every season as there has been for the last 15 years. There is only one change I'm interested in seeing right now though and it is apparent that Jerry's ego will not allow that.

Don't get too excited guys, I think he's talking about getting another facelift

Great teams beat good opponents. Not hope that something happens to them. That showed that Jerry is even more dedicated to improving his team, now.

Is it just me, or does the guy with the White visor on, and white t-shirt in the row behind the shirtless guy, look a lot like Jason Garrett?

But since he's not going to change "what's iin that mirror" then it's basically just rearranging the deck furniture.

"Where do we go from here?" Jones said, repeating the question. "Everyone, starting here, with me, goes to the woodshed. Everybody goes to the woodshed. Everyone." Jan. 2009

blah...blah...blah

FORT WORTH — After watching the New York Giants beat the Atlanta Falcons in Sunday's NFC wild card game, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told News 8 he was ready to make some changes.
His team would have been playing the Falcons if they had been able to beat the Giants last week. Instead, Jones watched the game on TV.
He and wife Gene were at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth Sunday evening, attending a private screening of "Albert Nobbs," a new film starring Glenn Close.
"I had hoped to come to this wonderful night rushing from our stadium," Jones said. "You just realize when you're watching these playoffs how important it is, and I really hated for our fans as much as I do my feelings, because it's just a different game when you get in the playoffs."
Jones added that he was "proud" of the Giants for "peaking at the right time," but he also pledged that things won't be status quo at Valley Ranch after Dallas' disappointing finale.
"We'll make some changes; I'll assure you we'll make changes," Jones said. "When you work for youself, there's not but one thing to change — that's what's in that mirror."
"I've had to make some pretty drastic changes in my time. The only thing that stays consistent is, I've had this quarterback for 50-something years," Jones said, turning to his wife. "That doesn't change."
The Cowboys owner offered no specifics about what changes might be afoot for the Cowboys.
"We want it to get better every year," Gene Jones said.

He was probably just talking about getting some new art for the palace.

my guess is that he is hearing the disgruntled fans and their threats of boycotts or not reupping their season tickets.

the change that needs to happen is the GM needs to be fired. 16 years of mediocre football and he is the constant.

No ****! The only saving grace here is he seems to be one more step closer to senility, his rambling nonsense seems to be at an all time high
