Jerry promises changes are coming

I know for a fact he has said this at least once over the last few offseasons after a failed campaign.

Its like a stump speech at this point.

I like what he said. It's better than not saying anything or not addressing the issues with this team.

respect is one thing: congratulate them.....whatever...but 'proud'?.....he's a senile old clown that needs to GO:bang2:

You are going to pick apart the words of a guy who has never chosen his words carefully? Brilliant!

Maybe he will eliminate that clock punching clause and hire a consultant like he was close to hiring Dan Reeves a few years ago.

A change at the oc position would be nice.

Would do nothing to improve the team. In fact, it would probably hurt it significantly.

How so? Garrett could probably use some help at this stage of his career.

Because I couldn't disagree with what you just said more.

You blame the coach. I blame the players who aren't good enough.

I agree..even the best mechanics need a few tools to work with

I blame both, we have seem to many miscues by this coach, care for me to list them?

Shoe me a real successful head coach who is both a HC and their own offensive coordinator, some may call the plays, but they have an OC.

I think the Packers coach and the Saints coach call their own plays but what do I know.

As for the coach, I think any GM that knows something about football will tell you that Garrett will only get better as a game manager. What he needs now is time to finish what he started and add better talent. If you take a serious look at the roster I doubt you can find more than 30 guys that can be solid starters.

If Garrett were an airplane mechanic, those crews who get paid to find the black box after crashes would certainly make some overtime.

The problem with Jerry is, he thinks like a homer. And homers are the worst at building a franchise winner, they are way too emotional and caught up in certain players. He needs a professional who thinks like a GM.

lol yeah right.

A quality offensive coordinator would make us better. Garrett is as bad as it gets when it comes to situational football.

Well even if I was wrong and wanted to agree with you, a new OC doesn't do a thing to address situational in game decisions. A head coach makes those decisions.

You're a frustrated fan who can't admit the players aren't good enough.

No his situational playcalling is bad.

His situational game management is terrible as well.

But he's bad situationally in every area.
