Just hated that guy.

On now and was just asked...
Of all your playoff opponents which one didnt you like to play?
Answer:
The Dallas Cowboys. We just hated each other. We were both very good and each team knew that whoever won between 49ers and Cowboys, that they would go on to win the Super Bowl.
Remember Irvin took Green to school at RFK with 3 TD's?

The only guy I remember giving Irvin fits was Bobby Taylor of the Eagles.
you remember well..
Yes. Steve Young owes jerry jones big time for the one Super Bowl he won.
Not sure if sarcastic? lmao
But if serious. I agree.
I hope he sends Jerry Xmas card every year because Jerry. Fave him our 3rd of 4 SB wins in a row.
We would have been the only team to EVER do that.
Right up there with Yankees, Bulls and Islanders
Charlie Taylor of the Washington Commanders.
He was a WR converted from a RB.
He would just kill us with big play after big play.
.
No sarcasm here. I agree with you and feel JJs ego provided Young that elusive SB or young would be in conversations with Kelly, Boomer and Marino.
I hate when Young is hammering on some of these other qb's like Romo when Young was very fortunate to sniff a SB. JJ opened the gate for him to take a Lombardi and he acts like it was all him. He couldn't hold Montana's jock as far as I'm concerned. Jimmy Johnson owned San Fran at the time.

Ain't that a B....
Furthermore, I personally feel Jerry altered our "dynasty destiny":
1. We have chance for three peat.
2. We were damn lucky to win XXX
3. I think we had a shot at 4 in a row.... Who knows... Jimmy still in charge it could have been 5 straight.
Charlie Taylor...# 42, I believe.

Interesting here (at least I think so)
He was asked what DB gave you the most problems getting off the Line of Scimmage?
He says..
Once Deion perfected his craft, he could be very difficult. But the other guy that would give me fits, I'd have to say Darrell Green.
Green was good. Gotta give him credit.
