Twitter: Jerry said he didn't call Micah after trade cause Parsons told him to lose his number

I thought he stopped his podcast to focus on football.
if he did I hadn't heard. What's odd about that if it's true, how many times, how many years have we been begging him to do that? Now suddenly after he gets traded to GB he wants to stop and focus on football? Almost looks like he leveraged Dallas to get what he wanted. Can't make this crap up.

I imagine it’s a different vibe in that organization. Seeking publicity and making money off it is a staple in the Cowboys organization. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

Jerry said he didn't call Micah after the trade because his herpes sore was so big he couldn't get his mouth close to the phone.

He announced it at the end of the season. It was one of the things he mentioned he was doing after Jerry asked him to step up his leadership as he moved into his expected big money contract.

As a matter of fact, in one of his last episodes, in February, he was saying he was a Cowboy lifer and that Jerry was his dawg.

So, Rayman, this is just another example of folks being mad about something they didn’t really even know about and you certainly aren’t alone.

I thought his podcast was interesting and had a lot of great players on as guests and they talked a lot of football. He would watch and discuss film and was always hyping the Cowboys. He was a good brand representative.

If people who were always hating the podcast would have actually watched it, I think they would have been less annoyed.

They had this idea that he was just out there getting high and goofing off but it was actually all about football.

Zeke had a twitch channel where he played video games with other players and no one seemed to be up in arms about that and he *was* getting high and goofing off.

How many players do regular radio shows? Loads of them. We don’t consider that an issue.

I know this obviously won’t change your mind, but please, at the very least, don’t perpetuate the story that this has anything to do with the trade because it was already ancient history by that point.

I didn't know. Your right. I guess looking back at the podcast, it just perpetuated Micah in a light that wasn't conducive to winning games for Dallas. Maybe that's unfair. Good on him for doing the right thing for him first. That's where it starts. Maybe that shows he's maturing. Unfortunately for him, he got his wish and he's in GB where he says he wanted to be all along. He said that after he got there. Makes me wonder how genuine he is . Same can be said about ole booger too. Ty for the info. Had no idea on his podcast because I never wanted to watch. I am old. I don't feel any player should be doing this in season. Glad he finally picked a lane.

Yeah, people saw it as a distraction and maybe it was.

I figured it was just something he did as a hobby instead of fishing or playing video games but it probably took more time and energy than those.

Seeing as he stopped and hasn’t started up again, maybe he agreed with you and others.

I bet ya your spot on.

That combined with Micah the generational victim makes a heck of a pair trying to get a business deal done
I don't think he is as much a liar as he is a spin yapper. I don't think he is alone or on an island with that communication technique. It's a very human trait. As owner and particularly post-90s I wish he would have hired a truly talented and qualified GM. But at 80 plus years he still has a lot of pro-football passion and gumption as misdirected as it is - and as frustrating to fans that is.

I get that ya’ll don’t like Jerry so look at this from Micah’s perspective.

Micah: nah man you can talk to my agent. Lose my #.

Also Micah: I can’t believe he didn’t call me after trading me
