Why in the heck would he do that? Keep the place closed up so the noise is louder. :bang2:

for those who care, there are 1200 seats available for the game which need to be sold by 7:15 thursday to avoid a blackout!

they are available on ticketmaster, so there is no need for anyone to use a scalper if you still want to go.

I'm fine with the roof, but keep the doors closed.
The hole in the roof does NOT impact the sound waves bounce all that much, ie look at Quest Field...
It's the curvature of the roof at the intersections between the walls and the rood itself that make the difference.

The sound never reaches the center of the dome(roof), it bounces down prior to it.

Where did you get that information?

Wow, really?

If this game doesn't sell out (without Jerry buying them), it's officially time to drop some prices.

no way it blacks out, THere are actually over 100,000 tickets sold, it is some technical thing with the actual 82,000 seats needing to be sold, the party passes do not count.

and I guess a number of fans are very mad because the 1200 seats that are left are in a good upper level spot, a spot that everyone else had to pay a 5000 dollar psl for....

Dear Girly Men,

Football was made to be played outside. In the snow, in the sleet, in the heat, in the mud, in the rain, in the cold, in the wind, and even in nice conditions. If Pittsburg, Greenbay, New England, and others can win and have loud fans in open air stadium then Dallas can too. Leave the doors and the roof open for every single game. If you want to watch a football game in a dome, go watch the Desperados.

Don't the local TV stations typically buy out these remaining tickets?

yes, especially if it's a number like that. And they're normally sold for a "nominal" fee, if I recall correctly, i.e. $1 a piece. the advertising dollars alone carried by the TV station are more than enough to purchase the tickets to seal out the blackout.

This game will not be blacked out, though.

There is no risk of a blackout. Not sure where you got that, theebs.

Jerry said there were that many seats still "available", but a blackout only occurs when there's a ton of seats unaccounted for (not sure on the exact figure). Jerry says attendance is expected to be between 104-105k.

one of the companies will.

I honestly think the only reason they didnt sell them is because they were holding them till the final hour to try and sell them as season ticket packages to get that psl.

Now they are released to the public. There is a less than zero percent chance any of the games this year do not sell out.

I will say this though, the atlanta game might be a tough one. And its a godo thing oakland is on turkey day, although there fans travel pretty well.

I just watched a special report on it on cbs11.

1200 seats in a good section of the upper deck need to be sold by 7:15 thursday.

Dont worry, all of the games will be sold out.
