Jerry sees a bright future for the Cowboys

The cap is the cap. It's got nothing to do with the pocket change Jerry makes on merchandise. He has the same money to spend on players as every other owner and he has to spend it.
Yeah, pocket change. Uhuh LOL The Cowboys generate hundreds of millions annually from merchandising, licensing, and sponsorships, contributing to their position as the world’s most profitable sports team. In 2023, the franchise reported $564 million in operating income, much of which comes from merchandise sales, stadium deals, and media rights

Every morn I come on whilst I inhale my first 10 coffees and 20 cigs..

Feeling pretty good.. then I read some Jerry schlop..

Then I feel like putting my coffee cup through the screen.

Dear god.. why has my love for the Dallas Cowboys become so painful.

Yeah, the part that's actually from merchandise and licensing is 7-12% of that revenue. So, it's a very small slice of the pie. But even if Jerry "took a hit" there and made nothing from it, the cowboy would still earn more than any other franchise and most NFL owners seem to do just fine. But dream on

It funny how this wealth of resources has not resulted in a better coaching or support staff?

Money is not the solution for all problems.

Jerry always sees a bright future. He knows (we all know) that he needs to keep the cowboys relevant. Since they aren't a winning franchise, he needs to do whatever it takes to stay on top in every other way, i.e. Netflix specials and the like. Props up the valuation.

stephen says they just need to keep choppin wood and they will get to where they need to he

Why does anyone even bother to quote him?

Don't they realize that they just transformed their "news" into a free advertisement?

Jerry Jones is a salesman, first and foremost. The title of GM is a disguise he uses to convince some that he is a reputable authority on the subject of NFL football.

He is not.
