Pretty simple, he expecting adjustments when something not working.........notice he reference the Rams playoff game. What's ironic is the D, not the offense loss the Rams game.

So where was Garrett (the safety net) on Sunday? Moore was obviously not seeing it or failing to make adjustments. He was being stubborn. So a REAL HC, or "safety net" is supposed to swoop in and help the kid.

But of course Garrett fails miserably at adjustments. Probably the worst "safety net" you would ever get in Garrett.

Garrett was the reason we got here in the first place with a new, inexperienced, young OC. Because Garrett couldn't make the adjustments previously. If the kid is struggling, what is Garrett going to do? He had no clue what to do when he was OC or when Linehan was OC. For all we know, he might have told Moore to stick with it in the 2nd half.

Dial Lincoln Riley on the Batphone.

Everyone needs to stop bringing up the pipe (or Bong) dream... he's not leaving OU his kids are starting or have started school they are not going to uproot them.... nor would a top 5 coach in NCAA leave a cushy job for a more demanding gig where he's not going to see him kids during the week and have everyone in world looking at you 24x7x365

"You're supposed to make adjustments when you don't get it done."

Jerry squarely blaming the coaches for making zero adjustments.

It's not exactly a secret that we didn't adjust well, but we shouldn't read too much into this. He's not condemning Moore, and in fact mentions that that we are doing some different things this year. He's just setting out what the expectation is. Obviously, if this kind of game were to become the norm, Jerry would get a little testier.

Slowly but surely JJ is seeing Garrett’s incompetence as the last roadblock in the way of a SB

Cowboys are Stacked. Belichick would have won 2 Super Bowls over the course of the last 3 seasons.

garrett is doomed....no matter what he does, he will be doomed by folks on this board....first three weeks, everyone is like keep him away from Moore...now, everyone complains he should have stepped in and helped....

lets not forget the play on the field wasn't that great....cooper two critical PI's.....Witten fumble after a long gain which were far and few in between...zeke fumble on a 4th and 1. Dak missed a wide open Cobb....and don't get me started on the putrid OL play.....coaching, execution all sucked. and yet we still only lost 12-10, on the road to a team that went to over time in NFCCG last year...

Definitely not Garretts fault. Because he does little here.

However, it only outlines why he is such a bad HC. Because he does nothing.

This was a full team meltdown. However, the OC and Oline get the most blame.

It also highlighted why Zeke isnt a top 3 back in this league. His big play element is far and few between.

But lets look at the other side of coin on that one.

Whenever we win, you few Garretts supporters want to talk about how Garrett should get credit.

When we lose, its never Garrett.

So until you break that cycle, like I just did, you shouldn't brother broaching that argument you just made.

I am not a garrett supporter....just looking at the other side of the coin to balance things out.

if you read my other posts, I blamed everyone for the loss. it wasn't a single thing, but a bevy of little things leading to lost opportunities in a close game.

bad OL play
bad play call
2 fumbles
missed passes
penalties
no in game adjustment

in a 12-10 game, just reducing those dumb mistakes by 1/3 would have led to a win

Don't agree with how Kellen Moore called the game. But, Jerry shouldn't throw Moore under the bus for one bad game, as this is Moore's rookie year as OC and act like Moore's on the hot seat for one badly playcalled game. While he keeps on letting Garrett off of the hook and keeps on giving Garrett leeway and chance after chance, season after season. Especially not if Garrett played a part in the failed plays that were called against the Saints.

Getting rid of other coaches on the staff isn't going to solve the Cowboys problems if Garrett is still head coach.

This is sad. Anything to deflect from a crap HC. Lets blame the 4 game old OC that we hired. Brilliant.

If you are blaming play calling, how does it not make sense to blame the guy calling the plays. In any event, it's just one game, so all this drama is incredibly premature. If a pattern of poor play calling emerges there will be plenty of time to go nuts over it, but there is no need to rush and do it now. At that point blaming Garrett would be a more viable rationale because if he sees a bad pattern and doesn't stop it that's on him.
