Jerry thinks we underachieved this year

Even Jerry knows his hour-glass is running out of sand. Coulda, woulda, shoulda, Jerry. You blew the last 30 years because of your ego.

Haha this season has been the typical Cowboys season..hover around .500 long enough to stay relevant with talk of "playoffs" but win just enough games to draft in the middle of the pack lol

And that’s really the bottomline .

Cowboys fans continue sending our ownership the wrong message .

Only a downturn in revenue , less TV audience and empty seats will get his attention.
However unfortunately there won't be empty seats... They'll just be filled with opposing team's fans...

Ok, which players are a problem/failure?
All defensive ends except maybe Clowney.

Kenny Clark did not have a good game

All linebackers except maybe Overshown. Marist and Logan were awful again. Murray had some obvious blown assignments but he didn’t get run over

Entire secondary except maybe Donovan Wilson.

Bass and Nate Thomas were bad

Ferg was bad again

GP was very average but a lot of that was due to Flores making him the focal point of his entire coverage scheme

The organization is never winning another SB under Jerry. Frankly, I don’t think that matters that much to him if it doesn’t cost him his ego. He’d rather see the team never win a SB with him as GM than someone else at GM who does it some years.

Have you ever thought these players consistently play bad BECAUSE OF A LACK OF PROPER COACHING?

Has that ever crossed your mind?

You always cover for the coaches, yet they keep failing. If the players don't need coaching up and instead should already be ready to play like professionals, then why have coaches?

The bigger problem are the coaches. Improve the coaching staff, the players will perform much better. Teams like the Patriots, Bears, Colts, Jaguars, Broncos and others are proving that.

Ok, so stop talking and start firing Schottenheimer, Eberflus, the Special Teams coach and whoever else on this coaching staff who doesn't want to be here, Jerry!!!

Go find a real offensive and defensive genius, along with a very good Special Teams coach, and any other assistants needed. You've got the talent of players needed on this team. You simply don't have the right coaches. So start firing them today, and to hell with who doesn't like it. Changes need to be made at the most critical positions of this team in order to help fix it for next season. This season is finished! Time to tank the rest of the remaining 3 games and secure a better draft pick positioning. Also, gives you time to start looking for a new head coach, new O-Coordinator, new D-Coordinator and a new Special Teams coach. Do the right thing, Jerry. You are physically running out of time! Don't waste these players' prime years anymore.
3 HC, 1 AHC, 4 OC, 4 DC, since 2016, sure I trust Jerry to get top notch guys who’s first and most important qualifying trait is the ability to say yes Jerry you’re right.

Let's help Jerry out with some research.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones when asked if he feels like the team has underachieved this season based on his expectations:

"Yes. Yes. We certainly didn't think we'd be here in this kind of shape with three games to go, and have to be behind the eight ball the way we are. It's very disappointing. I'm really obviously very disappointed for our fans. I'm disappointed for these players. I didn't expect that. I thought we could come out here and on both sides of the ball make a better accounting of ourselves. Minnesota did the best job out there on both sides of the ball."

Who are "we"?

Jerry, Stephen and who else?

EDIT:

Ah damn. My bad.

Two dumb talentfree guys cant underachieve. Everything they are able to produce is overachievement by defintion.

It's his annual I didn't see this coming speech.

Of course he thinks we underachieved. That would mean he's still doing a great job and those pesky coaches keep failing him.
Soon to be followed by the "all in" declaration.

There’s no helping Jerry because he can’t help himself, he’s a legend in his own mind and it’s not his fault all those championship rosters the last 30 seasons underachieved, don’t believe me just ask Jerry

I wouldn't completely discount the coaches and the fact that this the 3rd scheme in 3 years. But football is football and some of these players just suck. Bland is our best corner. Let that sink in. He like Diggs got paid on 1 year of leading the league in interceptions. We could create some additional pressure to help out the secondary but when I see the opposing QB drop back to throw there isnt a corner or safety on this team that i have confidence to be in the right place or consistently make the play.

Ill give the rookie some leway for this season but its possible that cowboys screwed up and thought they were smarter than everyone else with that pick as well. That knee dont look right when he moves. Our LB corps not named Overshown suck. The Marist Liafua pick i thought at the time was bad and it is kind of playing out that way. The wasted pick on the Wilson guy im like Meh! Hes better than Murray but that aint saying much.

and the beauty of all this is we get to have the same guys who do our scouting and drafting each year get to load up and see how they can funk up this years draft.Maybe the odds are in their favor as they really cant go wrong drafting any position on defense. DT is really the only spot to be OK with at the moment and that sound weird to say.

It could be the coaches but its also a talent issue

And under McCarthy? And Garrett? And Parcells? And Wade? And Gailey? And Campo?

Why bury a guy who hasn’t even finished his rookie season that was sabotaged by his GM before it even began.

But no blame for the common denominator in all of the failure of the past thirty years. Him and his coterie of toadies and sycophants that he’s gathered and retained, all of whom exist in their roles because they prop him up and show undying loyalty.

Seems like we have 35 years of evidence that Dallas cowboys players just don’t play as hard as other teams and I think it’s bc the owner sucks the energy out of the athletics
