Jerry Wants To Sign Garret To 20 Years according to a forum talking about a radio show?

Anybody hear anything about Jerry wanting to ink Red for another 20 years?

I was listening to the On The Air show by the Star magazine crew and they had a private conversation with Jerry. Ole Jethro stated, if he had his way, he'd sign JG to a 20 year contract. So, it appears Jerry is willing to work through JG'sgrowing pains at all cost. Your thoughts?

I don't remember hearing that on the show.

The Sullivan guy did say he talked with Jerry about Garrett and seemed to indicate that Jerry did not want to give up on Garrett yet but I don't recall him saying 20 years.

Someone can listen to that and see if I missed it though.

signing Garrett for 20 more years basically says that there would be no GM while Jerry still breaths....but, perhaps in 20 years, Spadling can stop picking his nose (and eating it) and will hire a real GM, since he likely will be running things at that point
