Exactly. We've still been trying to replace Terry Glenn, a very underrated player in Romo's development.

Romo had the best rapport with TG, much better than any of the other receivers he's thrown to. Instead, we have a bunch of long striders and no one with any wiggle.
Funny statement, cause all the skins are complaining about are their tiny receivers. They hate them.

**** Holley.

He was picked because of his size. The Cowboys will never go after a smaller receiver, which is ludicrous

Never again.................ever?

Guess they need more big WRs... Like Malcolm Kelly. :muttley:

Hawkins has been in three games in the CFL, and the "great" special-teamer has contributed NOTHING.

Nada.

No tackles, no returns (don't some of you claim he was a potential good returner), no catches and of course, no yards.

Again, I thought he looked good too, but if he can't do it in the CFL, then do tell, how could he make it for the Cowboys? If he was as good as some of you claim, wouldn't he, at least, be tearing it up right now?

I don't expect Holley to do anything either, but you guys that get all in a tizzy over Irvin's "big" mistake crack me up.

I can't wait until Holley is cut just to see the threads that say "should have kept Hawkins". Theres gonna be so many more, its gonna be great.

With all due respect towards Holley I really wish the best for him.

Every contestant that was on that show got put through the ringer just for the opportunity to play here.

If nothing else they should be proud that they were able to do the things they did because they tried to kill those guys on that show.

Randall Williams > Jesse Holley and Montrell Jones

Plus Randall has the fastest TD in Cowboy history.

Holley's best asset is the ability to go up for the ball, he has very good hops. Holley is competing w/Stanback (who is faster, more experienced in system and versatile_returner & wildcat QB), Ogletree (better hands, better route runner & much greater speed) and Johnson (can play the slot, more WR experience, versatile_returner & wildcat QB) for the last WR slot (IF Cowboys carry 5). And Holley is still learning not only the position, but the game of football. Not to mention his hands are iffy. Holley's only hope is if a couple of guys get injured, otherwise there is no way he dislodges either Hurd (experienced in system, great hands, can play slot, very good STer), Crayton (great hands, proven, slot, returner) or Austin (big play guy, dynamic returner, speed).

Coach Joe said it best, "you (Mike) said it, the best way to get on this team is to dominate on ST, and Hawkins is the best STer". Holley on the other hand is average to mediocre in return coverage and lacks both the long speed and quickness to be a returner.
