Jets CB Dyson?

The Jets are said to be dangling cornerback Andre Dyson as trade bait as they try to acquire a veteran left guard to replace Pete Kendall. The 28-year-old Dyson started 15 games last season, but the Jets seem comfortable inserting Darrelle Revis at left cornerback despite the first-rounder missing 20 days of training camp as a holdout.

Don't know enough about Dyson but if he has enough talent to at least be a viable #3rd/4th CB, I sure hope Cowboys talking to the Jets or maybe we can set up a 3-way trade like the Broncos often do do. We send a 2nd day pick to another team whose got a OG they don't need to trade with Jets for the CB we need.

We don't have what they are looking for in a LG but we have some other guys I would be willing to part with for Dyson. Keith Davis comes to mind if they need a STs guy, and who doesn't? I don't think they would trade him for Proctor or Berger but both guys can play OG.

Dyson is a decent player who could fill in when needed. Having him and Glenn behind our starters would make me very comfortable.

Andre Dyson #21 | Cornerback | New York Jets
Height: 5-10 Weight: 183
Age: 28
College: Utah

2006 NY Jets
15 games - 62 tackles - 4 Ints

I would bring him in if we could find a 3- way trade partner. I didn't think we have the luxury of giving up a guard that would entice the Jets at this moment. Miles Austin may have upped his value in that last preseason game. If we throw in a late round pick, we might be able to get this done.

Maybe Thomas Jones would like to back up his brother...

It would likely be the other way around.

As woefully mediocre as Julius is, his brother IMO is more so. At least Julius can drop the hammer every once in a while against crap defenses. Thomas Jones....is kind of Troy Hambrick.

Your credibility level drops about 2999 points with that.

Not saying TJ is great or anything, but C'MON! Troy Hambrick?! He is LITERALLY the worst RB I've ever seen. Ever.
