Jets' fire sale: Decker or Sheldon Richardson next?

The Jets have cut Ryan Clady, Nick Mangold, Darelle Revis, Brandon Marshall, Nick Folk among others. Speculation is that Eric Decker (who had offseason hip and rotator cuff surgeries) may be next. They will try to trade Sheldon Richardson and Calvin Pryor. I'd love Decker as a bargain-bin free agent WR and if the trade price continues to fall for Richardson, him too. Pair him with a Demarcus Ware signing and we'd have a very good pass rush for this year, while allowing a rookie DE time to develop.

I'm all in on Decker.

Richardson ... I'm torn. Talented but not a good locker room guy. But sometimes you need that guy to make it all gel

How bad has Clady gone downhill? I watched him in college and the pros, obviously not for a year or so, how bad are his injuries?

Don't want Richardson, not a good locker room guy...pass on Ware, age and multiple back surgeries, we already enough players on the defensive line with back problems
Who do you want?

Not saying I'm on board with either guy...but I would imagine you are dismissing them because you have better options in mind..wow me.

I'd take Richardson and decker. Nice compliment to dez. Draft s guy mid draft. Richardson I like a lot but seems to be bad locker room guy. But also wouldn't you be upset being in the jets locker room lol

I've said many times in other threads decker would be an excellent WR2, hes really good and has experience working in a tandem. Him and DT were sooo good in Denver. He was even good with BW with the jets that have no qb.

I've also said many times Brandon Williams has been on my radar to bring here as a Wr1 or 2. He's so productive and a great teammate since he started treating his legitimate mental health issue.

I'd be happy with either with a slight edge to BW.

I'd take them both. Richardson isn't the best in the locker room, but get him in a winning environment with some vets like Witten who aren't afraid to spit fire and we can do it.

Give them cheap one year and prove it contracts. You want a ring and prove to the league you're worth the cash? Come on down.

Richardson is signed for this year for $8M (which is reasonable and the same as Tyronne Crawford, whom we could cut). He is a free agent next year. So he ought to be on his best behavior.

Richardson collapses pockets, which is hard to find. They should take a flyer if the price is right, particularly if they are only tied to him for one year.
