Jets vs Giants gamethread

I can't believe Jacobs was talking to Coughlin like it was Manning's fault. If Eli calls the play, then Jacobs is wrong, no matter what.

That Eli Manning hit looked like one of those old school pro wrestling blade jobs gone horribly wrong. Never seen so much blood in a football game.

What exactly caused the cut? Did he hit Smith's elbow or make contact with a helmet?

I'm sure the NFL will make some type of ridiculous rule requiring defensive players to slow down to make sure the QB's helmet is securely attached before hitting them now.

Folks kickoffs seem to be going slightly further. I distinctly remember his kickoffs landing at about the 5 with us.

But that rule is only for Tom Brady.

Calvin Pace blindsided him and when Eli fell forward his face hit the Jet safety's facemask right on the forehead. Instant blood!:D

He threw a lateral, with his helmet... or was that a forward pass?

That's because the idiot special teams coach we had before Joe D wanted Folk to concentrate more on directional kickoffs instead of hammering them into the endzone.

Man, that was hard to listen to. Echoes galore.

Did I miss something? I rewound back to watch the Eli hit again.
