Let us know how this 'quest' works out. You do realize that the same defense most likely has to return now. Is Dak so super he's going to overcome the worst defense in team history?

You are also not considering the chance he might not even play this season.

If Jerry and company are THAT DUMB to know they don't need to put a lot of effort into fixing the defense after last years mess, doesn't EVER matter who is paid, who is QB, whatever... but they hired a GOOD proven DC and have quite a bit of draft capital this year. They can even "eureka" sign a GOOD free agent Defensive player or two now. The real work should start now.
