Are the rumors of Jimmy Johnson maybe coming back if Parcells leaves, too good to be true? I would love for Jimmy to come back, he could win.

I'm afraid they are what they are "rumors". I would be very surprised if Jimmy ever returned to coaching.

Are you kidding, with what staff, Norv,Dave and the rest, Don't get me wrong I love Jimmy as well as everyone here, But the reason he was so good is he came right out of college brought allot of his guys here and had a complete staff that had worked with him for years, Plus having the number 1 pick overall and a Troy Akiman out doesn't hurt either. I don't think Jimmy is our answer right now

I think most would love this, until he lost his first game, and then...go help him pack.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Jimmy had a lot go his way. In my humble opinion, the present day Jimmy would more or less be the Jimmy that coached the Dolphins before his retirement.

Nothing magical about that scenario.

If Jimmy comes back, WHO will play the role of #34 Walker (his trade bait)?

well Fletch,
I mean it doesn't take a brain surgeon to see how much fun that little fat bugger has on fox, so if you think he is hungry to win or has anything to prove some guys are sadly mistaken, No on that note I think sausage tits has allot to prove, or else little Bill will go down as the Brain trust, and not big Bill,:star:

This team as it stands is all wrong for a
Jimmy Johnson team.It just would not make sense.
Besides,i doubt very much he'd even want to manage
again.

We'd have to go through a rebuilding stage all over again. Jimmy's defense is build on speed not bulk. The only player we have that would meet that is Ware.

I'm sure a lot of Skins fans felt that way when Gibbs returned.

That's panning out well...

I really believe Jimmy is living the good life and
why would he give up one of the best jobs you
could ever want,to the enslavement of coaching.

No more old coaches, they get too conservative with age for some reason and less creative, generally speaking

Agree. It'll never happen. Never. One, Jimmy doesn't want to coach again and two, he could NEVER top what he did here in the 90s.

Give this up, please.
