Am I the only one who thinks we should keep the 2 headed monster just the way it is. When one is struggling the other picks it up.

Nope. I like it too, it makes a lot of sense to keep what works for as long as possible.

Everyone is so used to and expects/wants the dominant 1000+ rusher, but as long as it works, I don't care about someone's stats and would rather a good running game with two.

I've said all along that I'm happy with it just as it is. It doesn't matter to me who starts or who gets the most carries. It's just darn effective!

Definitely agree. If its not broke dont fix it.

While i really like both of them, i dont think either one of them is a 30 carry back every Sunday.

I agree.

It also looks like McFadden is slowly moving out of our reach. so I really hope we can keep JJ if that is the case. JJ will never be a premier back but the combo of JJ and Barber is the same as having one premier back. It also limits the number of hits each back takes which will hopefully prolong both of their careers.

On a side note, I can't believe the Browns are screwing us the same way the Bills did three years ago. :bang2:

Maybe letting Julius finish out a series rather than pulling him at the goal line will allow him to pick up some momentum.

I like it now, but I think the duo would be much, much better if we replace Jones with a McFadden or Ray Rice.

That may be our intent but Jones may want to go for starter pay elsewhere. If so Tyson Thompson will come in and save the dynamic duo tandem.

TT is no where near the back that JJ is. I would much rather draft another RB to replace JJ than rely on TT.

What if we managed to sign Michael Turner? A Barber-Turner tandem would be pretty hot...

I hink combined htey had like 20 carries 100 yards.

Would have been more, but they put Thompson in later. Seemed to work pretty well to me.

No thanks.

Next year we need to replace him with someone better.

That way instead of saying "When one is struggling, the other picks it up" we can say "When one is doing good, the other is doing better".

Yeah Jones will likely want to go somewhere and be THE MAN and some other team will pay him accordingly. We'll have to draft his replacement because Tyson appears to be at best where he is now.

With 2 1sts and a 2nd we should have no problems finding JJs replacement if needed. But as others have said, hopefully we can keep JJ/MB3 together for a few more years.
